CAM'S POINT OF VIEW

"OKAY, let's keep our wits about us tonight; we do not want to get jumped by relic men," Lockwood explained to the group as the cab drove towards the cemetery. It was another wet night, like most were in London, so the windows were fogged up with water droplets sitting on the other side of the glass.

Cam looked away from the window, turning his head to the boy who was sitting next to him.

"Who even keeps those arseholes in business? I don't understand," Lucy commented, glancing out the window again as the cab began to approach the cemetery.

"There's a lot of rich, twisted bastards out there, who want to scandalise their equally twisted mates," Cam told the girl, thinking about the men he had met when he was younger; acquaintances of his fathers. Just another lot of rich, bored men who had nothing to do.

"It's so messed up," the girl muttered.

"But not surprising," Annie pointed out, "Sources are fascinating and illegal. Put those two things together and there's your black market,"

"A ruthless one at that," Lockwood added, "Relic men are the scum of the earth. I know one notable exception," Cam glanced at him, frowning slightly; he'd never mentioned this before?

"But by and large they'll kill you without hesitation. So, if you see one, run,"

"This lot are almost as crazy," George stated as the car drove through a large crowd of protestors, who were holding ups signs and yelling at the agency.

"Who are they?" Lucy asked, glancing over at the others again, "Ghost cult. They think that instead of fighting visitors, we should be welcoming them in," George explained to her.

"It's not as if I've met a friendly visitor, who had welcomed me into their home," Cam remarked quietly, causing the boy next to him to smile and shake his head slightly.

George continued, glancing at the two briefly, "They're the venn diagram intersection for noisy, angry, and deliberately thick,"

Cam raised an eyebrow as an egg was smashed against the window, "Very mature,"

"So kind, honestly. Sorry, there's no autographs tonight. Thank you though," Lockwood told the angry crowd through the window.

The car kept on driving, the gates shutting behind it as it drove into the cemetery.

"That was horrible," Lucy commented as the group of five walked through the cemetery, torches on and shining about.

It was cold, and there was a thick layer of mist that sat over the cemetery like a blanket.
