CAM'S POINT OF VIEW

GEORGE had set up a contraption of sort which Annabel's ring had been displayed in, so he had brought the other four agents into the kitchen to see what he had discovered.

"So what are we looking at?" Lockwood asked the curly haired boy, "I put the ring behind silver glass so we can safely examine it,"

"Yeah, but it's daylight," Lucy commented; ghosts didn't tend to be active during the day, it was very uncommon for them to.

"Yes, well, to state the obvious, I'm a bit more risk averse than you, aren't I?" George stated, "Now, the intruder was after the ring. But why?" the boy had a grin on his face as he explained the whole thing. Cam noticed Annie watching the boy with a fond look; he nudged her slightly with a grin, getting a small whack on his upper arm in return.

George flicked a small switch on the machine, which was linked up to the television with a cable; the television flickered on, displaying an image of the ring and its hallmarks.

Cam and Annie moved in closer, standing behind Lockwood and George as they read the inscriptions on the ring, "H 22 115," Lucy read aloud, "Maybe H for Hugo?"

"That's what I thought. But who's the other big H in Annabel's life?" George explained, "Act II, Scene 2,"

The group watched as he passed a copy of Hamlet to Lucy, listening as she read the lines out to them, "'Doubt thou the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love.' This is it! The hallmark's a love letter, that's why Annabel wanted me to take the ring. It proves she and Hugo were together. That has to be enough to put him away!"

"No, it doesn't prove anything," Lockwood told the girl as he stood up, removing the ring from the case, "But that isn't evidence he murdered her," Lucy sighed disappointedly.

"The ring's going in the safe. I'm keeping a hold of the key because, well, you can't be trusted," Lockwood stated, aiming the last bit at Lucy specifically. Cam and Annie had started an 'amount of times lucy has stolen annabel's ring' counter. Currently they had 3 times.

"But it's her source," she protested, "Which you stole illegally," he said before sitting back down, "Now, the final ruling of Sheen Road just came in. If we don't get our shit together now, this agency's done,"

Cam frowned as he leaned over the boy's shoulder, reading the page, "Mandatory indefinite oversight?" George read out.
