As she walks into work, she pushes her way through the crowd and to behind the counter, while everyone sneezes and coughs in twos. Ignoring them, she grabs an apron, and places it around her waist. And with her standing there looking at the crowd, her face instantly begins to drip with sweat. Grabbing a towel, she then wipes the sweat off her face with it, and looks over at Amelia, and asks her, "What's going on? Did you notice everyone sneezing in two's again?'
"Sneezing! Weezing! You always think it's something strange!" Amelia sarcastically says, as she grabs a rag, and then wipes the counter down. As she then puts the rag in the sink, she then looks over at Luna, and says, "You look different! What did you do before you came in?"
"I didn't do anything different! I just went to our local jewelers and picked up my ring. Then I drove over to the harbor for a couple of minutes, and watched the boats and seagulls," Luna says, as she shows Amelia the ring.
"Oh! That's nice! He did a good job," Amelia says, as she grabs Luna's hand, and looks at the ring.
"Thanks," Luna says with a smile, as she then walks over to the galley, and grabs a plate of food. As she puts the plate in front of a customer who's sitting at the counter, she then walks backs over to Amelia, and then says, "You know I'm only bringing up the sneezing thing because I had the weirdest thing happen to me before I came in. When I was at the harbor, a bunch of seagulls flew in from the harbor in a formation, and then landed in front of my vehicle. They sat there for a couple of seconds looking at me, and then suddenly, they left all at once. It was almost like they were telling me something."
"Really! That's strange! Hold that conversation, Luna. I've got to take this order," Amelia says, as she walks out from the counter, and over to a table.
"Okay!" Luna yells, as she wipes the counter down, while sensing someone coming to visit her at the tavern. As she wipes the counter down, she keeps looking up and out the window, waiting and watching to see who it is, as the pressure of someone visiting her comes on stronger. Turning her back and talking to the man behind the galley, she then sees out of the corner of her eye, a silhouette of a women walking into the tavern. And with it catching her attention, she then turns around with a plate in her hand, and looks at the women, and then over to Amelia, and whispers, "Look! It's Isla. I know it's her! I recognize that face from the social media."
"Wow! It is! I'm quite surprise she's here. I wonder what she wants?" Amelia says, as Isla walks up to the counter, and sits down in front of Luna.
"Hi ladies! You must be Luna. It's finally nice to meet you," Isla says, as she puts her purse on the counter, and then grabs a menu. As she looks the menu over, she then looks up at Luna, and then asks, "What's good here? I'm going to order some food to go."
"The burgers are good!" Luna asks, as she stands in front of Isla.
"I wanted to meet you. I've heard about you. I'm also quite surprised that we never met each other before. Let alone, run into each other. Since it's a small town and all," Isla says, as she puts the menu on the counter.
"Well! It's finally nice to meet you to. I'm also quite surprised myself that we haven't ran into each other either. So have you decided what you want to order?" Luna asks, as she turns the music up in the tavern.
"I'll order a burger. Make it medium rare. And make it to go," Isla says, as she looks around the tavern.
"Okay! One burger to go! Coming up," Luna says, as she takes the order, and places the ticket on the galley. As she walks back over to her, she then takes the menu, and puts it under the counter, and then says, "So! I'm guessing that you're just not here for a to go order. You're also hear to talk about Geo, right?"
"Yep! You're right!" Isla says, as she looks at her cell phone, and then places it on the counter. As she scans the tavern one more time, to make sure no one is listening, she then looks at Luna, and then says, "I just want to tell you that you need to be aware of Geo. He's into the dark arts you know!"
"Yeah! I already suspected that. Aren't you? Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Luna asks, as Amelia walks over, and stands next to Luna, and listens to their conversation.
"No! I'm just psychic. I'm not into the dark arts! I just want you to be careful. Nice jackal by the way," Isla says, as she then looks down at her nails.
"Uh huh! Look if you must know, we're just friends. It's not like I'm in a relationship with him. I'm already in a relationship if you must know," Luna says, as a customer waves her over. With her waving back, she then looks over at the jackal, and then at Isla, and then says, "I have to go! It was nice meeting you. Maybe, we'll run into each other again."
"Okay! It was nice meeting you, as well!" Isla says, as she picks up her cell phone and looks at it.
As Luna walks away, and takes the order for another customer, Isla sits at the counter, and goes through her phone, as she waits for her order. As she puts the phone down, she makes small talk with the customer who's sitting next to her. Within moments, Amelia then walks up to her with the to go food in her hand, and hands her the food. And with Isla getting the money out of her purse, she then hands Amelia the money, and then says to her, "Thanks for the food. It smells good."
"You're Welcome," Amelia says, as she watches Isla get up, and walk out of the tavern with her food.
Within moments, Luna then walks behind the counter with a ticket in her hand, and places it on the galley. She then walks over to Amelia, and whispers, "That explains why the seagulls at the harbor were acting strange earlier. They were telling me that something is coming."
"Oh yeah! What did she really want?" Amelia asks.
"She wanted to talk about Geo, and how he was into the dark arts," Luna says, as she pulls out her cellphone, and opens Isla media page. Going to her page, she sees that she made her social media private, and she looks up at Amelia, and then says, "Well! That's strange. After all this time, she finally made her social media private."
"Did she really? That's weird! I guess you can't keep looking at her then," Amelia says, as she makes a drink for a customer.
As she puts her cell phone back in her back pocket, she then begins to put glasses on the shelf, and says to Amelia, "I'm thinking that maybe she made it private was because she didn't want me to see what she's up to."
"Maybe!" Amelia says, as she shrugs her shoulder, and then walks away.
With Luna making drinks and placing orders during her shift, she can't help, but constantly think about going to the Raven after work and getting hypnotized by Laura and Victoria. Knowing that it will be another way to heighten her senses, she keeps herself busy by looking at the jackal and then the clock, watching the time go by. And as she also sings under her breathe during this time, she graciously moves around the tavern, talking to the customers and taking their orders for the remainder of her shift.
