Chapter Fourty-Eight

With her pulling out of the parking lot, and driving home, she yawns, while her eyelids get heavy, and with her mind full of thoughts of the recent visions during the hypnosis, her body is on autopilot. Pulling into her driveway moments later, she then puts the car in park, and her train of thought is broken when she sees Kyle through the kitchen window grabbing something out of the cupboard, while all the lights are on all throughout the house.

As he then walks into the living room, he doesn't look back at her, and she senses that he's up to something once again, and with the recent vision of him doing magic coming back to her, she then gets out of the car, and walks to the front door, as Isla and Geo appear in her psychic space. Ignoring them and sighing out of frustration, she then walks into the house, and takes her shoes off, and puts her car keys on the kitchen counter. Standing there for a few seconds, she listens to what he's watching on the television, and then walks into the middle of the living room. Seeing him lying on the couch, eating potato chips, she yawns, and says with a smile, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing much! I'm just watching television. What have you been up to? How was your day?" he asks, as he looks up at her.

"My day was good. Eventful! Picked up my ring. Then worked, and then I went over to the Raven. I thought you would be sleeping by now. It's late," Luna says, as she keeps the hypnosis, and the vision of Kyle doing witchcraft to herself.

As he rolls up the bag of chips and sets it down on the side of the couch, he then turns down the television, and says, "Yeah! I know it's late. I wanted to wait up for you. Did you have a good time? Let me see the ring!"

"Yeah! We had a good time. Are you coming to bed or are you going to stay up and watch television?" Luna says, as she walks over to the bottom of the stairs. As she stands there, she then looks back at him, and then says, "I'm heading upstairs to sleep. I'm tired!"

"Nah! I'm going to stay up for a little bit. I'm not tired. I'll even probably sleep on the couch tonight. I'm really comfortable," he says, as he changes the channel, and then moves his pillow around.

"Okay!" she says, as she walks back over to him, and gives him a kiss on the lips. As she shows him the ring, she then walks back over to the bottom of the stairs, and gives him a quick look, and then says, "Love you."

"Love you too," he yells, as she walks up the stairs, and then into the bedroom. Turning on the bedroom light and then the television, she puts on her pajamas, and grabs her journal from under the bed. As she then sits down and covers herself up with a blanket, she looks at her ring for a couple of minutes before she begins to write.
