Chapter six.

John and marlena are laying in their bed.

Marlena's hand naturally draped over her belly and she smiled down at it.

what do you think it is?.

John asked his wife.

I honestly have no idea, Sometimes I swear it's a girl, and other days, I'm convinced it's a boy.

What do you think it is?.

Marlena asked her husband.

I think it's a girl and I'm sticking with that.

Johm said to his wife.

Maybe we should find out and
It might be kinda nice to know.

We can have everything set up before the baby is born and we won't have to go out and buy things afterward.

maybe we could get some things with the name on it.

Marlena said to her husband.

"Yeah?.

John asked his wife.

"Yeah and what do you think?,
It's your choice too.

Marlena asked her husband.

John thought it over for a moment then smiled

Let's do it.

John said to his wife.

Okay.

Marlena said to her husband.

I can't wait.

John said to his wife.

Me too.

Marlena replied.

John and marlena decided to have a gender reveal party at their house.

They still don't know what they're having until they cut into the cake.

Lexie,  hope, Abe, kim, Bo, Kayla Steve, Kim and shane.

Are in the Kitchen waiting for john and marlena to cut into the cake.

John and marlena cut the cake together and they saw it was pink inside.

It's a girl!, said john.

Marlena's hands splayed over john's cheeks and she kissed him with all she had.

their tears mingling together on both of their faces.

I love you.

Marlena murmured against john's lips.

I love you, too.

John said to his wife.

Congratulations guys, we're happy for you.

Lexie said to her friends.

Thank you.

John said to his friend.

"Now hope, can plan the baby shower.

Bo joked.

"I'm already planning it and now
I know the color scheme and When you choose a name, let me know, so i can have stuff printed up.

Hope said to her friends.

Marlena said to her friend.

Later that night.

John and marlena sat curled on the couch after dinner, a large throw blanket draped over them as the fireplace crackled behind them.
