Chapter nine.

John was trying to be a good husband, he really was,But lately,
it seemed like everything he did pissed marlena off.

Marlena was feeling large and
tired and stressed.

John knew it was just hormones getting the best of her, so he tried to give her space.

John went upstairs and he knocked on the bedroom door.

Marlena?.

John asked.

You can come in.

Marlena called out from the bedroom.

John entered the room and he saw that marlena was watching TV
in bed.

Hey.

Marlena said as she muting the TV.

You okay?, If you want me to leave you alone?.

John asked his wife

Marlena patted his side of the bed, and john took that as an invitation.

As soon as john dropped down next to marlena, he pulled her close to him.

Marlena resting her head on john's chest.

"I'm nervous.

Marlena said as she looking up at her husband.

About what?.

John asked as he reached for his pillow and put it under marlena's belly to make her more comfortable, and she draped her arm over his torso.

"I don't know, everything, I'm thrilled and excited and can't wait
to meet her, but I'm scared that
i not going to good mother to her.

Marlena told her husband.

Oh, sweetheart, you will be awesome mother our daughter.

"We started planning our lives around her before she even existed.

We knew we were going to have kids, and we agreed a long time ago that they would be our number one priorities.

John told his wife as he felt a kick from their daughter and his eyes went wide in surprise.

John said to his wife.

"I think she does, I don't mean to be a basket case, you know that, right?.

Marlena asked her husband.

"I know.

John said as he kissed the top of marlena's head.

John lifting up marlena shirt she was wearing and he kissing her belly.

Daddy, love you so much belle.

John said to marlena's growing belly.

She love you too.

Marlena told her husband.

John looks up his wife and tells her.

I love you, marlena.

I love......

Marlena paused and her hands going to her belly.

What?, Are you okay?.

John asked as his heart already racing inside his chest. "

"Yeah, I'm fine, My stomach just feels like it's tightening up or something.
