We got to the hospital and trauma is heaving. Massive apartment fire. Bailey meets us and walks us straight to a quiet room. "What've you been drinking to be this drunk?!" Bailey says. Me and Arizona share a look and just look at her and say "Wine" Bailey just looks down and then says "Right, you guys can stay in here, no answering phones, no talking to patients until you can see straight and don't sound like you're going to say something you don't mean. This sounds wrong but you are on scut till then." Arizona looks like a naughty child as I sit there like I've been dragged into whatever Arizona has done.

We sit in the empty conference room with a pile of scut. About 20 minutes of us sitting in silence Amelia walks in with water for us both. "I feel like this is partly my fault" Amelia says as she stands leaning against the door trying not to laugh. Arizona is lying on the sofa singing Christmas songs and I'm sat on the floor with my legs up against the wall. "Right, get up." Amelia says and we both stumble to our feet. "Bailey sent me to keep an eye on you both. So whilst I read my book you guys need to at least do some of this." She says as she throws a chart at Arizona.

After 3 hours I'm sober enough and head out onto the floor and start on some trauma patients. Arizona is still quite drunk so Amelia is stuck in there with her. I start treating a little boy who has some 2nd degree burns on his arms and legs. "AVERY! I need some help over here please!" I shout. "Dr Wolfe, fill me in." Jackson says as I start to fill him in. "9 year old boy, 2nd degree burns up his left leg and on his right thigh also a third degree burn on his upper left arm. He's been on oxygen for the past twenty minutes" I say. "Grab me the burn cart please" I walk to the burn carts and pull one over to Jackson. "We're going to move him to trauma room two because we need to put him under while I do this. He's too little for me to do this with him awake." We move the little boy over to trauma room two where Owen and Teddy were there ready to put him under. April was there to help Jackson with the burns. I observed the heart monitor.

We treated the little boy and moved him up to the PICU and I found his parents and showed them up to the PICU. Once I was done I headed down to Arizona. "Bailey, I'm just heading to Arizona now." I said as I saw Bailey in the corridor. "Take her home Wolfe, we can spare two of you." Bailey says. "Thanks Bailey, see you Monday." I walk down to the conference room. I open the door to a still very drunk Arizona playing with Amelias hair. "Come on Zona, we're going home." I take her hands and pull her away from Amelia. "But I wasn't finished" Arizona said as I put her coat around her. "You can play with Amy's hair when you're not drunk." I look at Amelia and we laugh. We walk to the taxi rank in front of the hospital and I take Arizona home. We get straight into bed because I'm shattered from running up and down from trauma to the PICU.

*the next day*

I woke up with a horrendous stomach ache. I run to the bathroom as a precaution. "Baby are you okay?" I hear from the other room. "I'm not sure, I've got this horrible stomach pain." Arizona walks into the bathroom and holds my hair back just in time, I throw up. She kneels behind me rubbing my back and keeping hold of my hair. "Do you think it's the wine, like a hangover?" She asks. "No, it's definitely not a hangover, I've got a horrid pain in my abdomen." Zona checks that I'm not going to be sick again and asks if she can check my abdomen. I nod as she lifts up my shirt. "Let me know if it's uncomfortable babe." She says before pressing on my abdomen. "Owwww" Once Arizona pushed that spot I was in too much pain to handle. "Y/n, I think your appendix have burst." Arizona says about to call an ambulance. "It can't be that, I had my appendix out when I was 10." She's suddenly really worried. She calls an ambulance and we make our way to the hospital.

Arizona's POV:

We make it to Grey Sloan and the paramedics are great. "25 year old female, severe abdominal pain" The paramedic said. "Could it be burst appendix" April says to me. "No, she had her appendix out when she was 10. I honestly, don't know whether it was the wine or something else." I say as we follow them in.
