It's been two months since I met Arizona's family. Her parents were so welcoming, on my days off, if Arizona is working I FaceTime Barbara for a couple of hours, updating her on every day life. I managed to get my parents to come to Seattle for a couple of days in a few months. Mom and dad are coming, Emmie couldn't get the time off work, which is understandable. Emmie is coming to visit at some point. Both me and Zona are off work on the Sunday that they are here so I've planned a fun filled day for us to show them around. I do have to study for my board exam at some point but it might be nice for them to get to know Zona without me there.

I had a hospital appointment this morning so I went to work with Arizona, "You sure you don't want me there with you?" She asks. "Yes, it's fine, It's just a contraceptive consult." I say. Ever since I was a teenager I've had extremely horrific but irregular periods, I've been on the pill, the implant and the patch but we have reached the point where the coil is my final option. "Babe, Carina's my gyno, I will be in good hands." I say in reassurance to Arizona. "Okay, I'll see you after lunch for your rounds?" Arizona asks. I nod as I see Carina. I walk over to Carina, "Hey, you ready?" Carina says. "Yeah, May as well get this over and done with right?" I say. She laughs and mutters something in Italian, I don't question it as Carina always mutters something to herself.

After my appointment I felt slightly faint so Carina helped me to the Attendings Lounge and she paged Arizona. I hear footsteps getting faster and closer. "I'm here, what's happened?" Arizona says out of breath. "She's okay, she just went a little faint and I thought she needed someone to sit with her for a little bit until she felt better." Carina says. "Zonaaa" I call out as I see my blonde girlfriend walking towards me. She bends down next to me. "Are you okay?" Arizona says rubbing my arm. "Well I keep going dizzy and feeling faint." I say as Arizona catches me as I fall onto her. "Woah are you okay?" She worryingly asks. "Can you pass me a bucket I'm going to be sick." I say. Arizona runs towards the rubbish bin and brings it to me. She rubs my back in circles. "Carina, is this normal?" Arizona asks. "Yes, everyone has a different reaction to the insertion of the coil but most of the time its nausea, vomiting and dizziness." Carina explains. 

Arizona's POV: 

I saw Dr Bailey walk past the room. "Bailey!" I shout as she walks into the Attending's Lounge. "You okay there Dr Wolfe?" Bailey asks while looking at Y/n leaning over a bucket. "She got the coil." Both me and Carina say in unison. "Robbins, take your girlfriend home." Bailey says leaving the room. "Karev! You're taking over Robbins services today!" We hear Bailey shout through the corridors. I laugh as Y/n leans over the bin again. "Right lets get you home." I say as I make my way over to her. 

*Couple months later* 

Y/N's POV:

Today my parents are flying in from Chicago. They're staying for a couple of days. I've managed to get Saturday and Sunday off and Zona got the Sunday off. I was cleaning around the house before we had to head to the airport to pick them up. Both me and Arizona had finished work at 6pm and my parents land at 8pm. I quickly sprayed some air freshener in the guest room and ran downstairs to Arizona. "You ready to go?" I ask as I take the car keys from the key hooks. Arizona nods and shuts the doors behind us. 

The drive to the airport felt really long but it was because I haven't seen my parents in almost two years. We pull into SeaTac airport after what felt like hours and we made our way to the Arrivals Hall. I cuddled into Arizona. "I love you." Arizona says into my ear. "I love you too baby" I reply. 

Arizona's POV:

I suddenly got goosebumps all over my body, I knew that this weekend was my opportunity to ask her parents if I can marry their daughter. I get a rush of nerves as people start coming from the doors. I can see Y/n get all excited and starts looking through the crowd to see her parents. Suddenly, y/n runs over to her parents. They engulf in a hug which lasted forever. It was extremely sweet. "Oh, mom, dad, this is Arizona." Y/n says with a smile as she takes my arm and brings me in. "Hi, it's nice to meet you both." I say. Lucie, y/n's mom, brings me into a hug, "It's so nice to meet you." She says as y/n's dad Ethan pulls me into a hug also.
