I drop Sofia off at school before going back to the house to pick up Arizona for work. Sofia didn't even speak to me on the drive, she ignored all of my conversation starters. I eventually gave up with the attempts to talk to her. I pulled up and walked into the school with her to sign her in. "Hi, she's getting the bus home tonight." I say to the receptionist. "Thank you for letting us know, Sofia just come here to sign out before you leave please." The receptionist says and nods at me so I can go.

I drive back to the house to pick up Arizona before we go to work. I walk into the house to see her sat staring off into the distance in the living room. "hey, you ready to go?" I ask as I break her trance. "Oh, yeah." She replies, quietly. I decide that I will be driving because she keeps zoning out. As the car pulls into the hospital we pull into Arizona's spot by the front of the hospital and I get our bags from the trunk. "I'm going to grab us coffees" Arizona says as she slowly walks towards the coffee cart.

After waiting for 5 minutes for coffee we finally got our drinks and headed inside to the residents and attendings lounge. I quickly got into my scrubs and made my way to the nurses station where Zona said to meet. Arizona walks out and stands there. "Okay, I've spoken to The Chief and she's said that I can take it easy today, are you okay taking the lead on the surgeries today? I'll be there to observe and assist but for obvious reasons i'm in no fit state to operate." Arizona says. I nod and give her a kiss before we head into the OR.

Callies POV:

I land in Seattle and get a cab over to Sofias school. I find the school bus and wait by it. I scroll through my phone and send a quick text to Arizona letting her know I'm here. 

Arizona

Callie:
I've just got to the school. I'll let you know when she's with me.

Arizona:
Great. Y/n and I will be back from work around 6 so feel free to make yourself a snack if you need.

Callie:
Thank you. The flight back is tomorrow morning.

Callie:
I'll help Sofia pack up her things tonight.

Arizona:
Thank you.

Arizona:
Hopefully, her moving back with you does something, I miss the old Sofia :(

Callie:
I know, we'll get her back, don't you worry.

It hits 4pm and students begin flowing out of the doors. I catch a glimpse of Sofia, she is walking with girls, at least 2 years older than her. Zola tries to say goodbye to her but Sofia ignores her. I see Sofia walking towards me. As soon as I am in proximity I walk over. "Surprise!" I say as I pull her into a hug. "Mom, stop please ugh!" She says scoffing. "What's the attitude for missus." I say as I take her hand. "We are walking back because I think you and I need a serious chat!" I continue. Sofia scoffs but agrees, she waves to her friends and we walk towards Arizonas house. 

"So I want to know what is going on with you." I say. "Well, I bet Arizona called you to tell you what happened." Sofia says. "Your MOM, did call me because what you said was extremely disrespectful and rude. Your mom works so hard to support you and that is how you repay her." I explain. I keep an eye on her facial expressions as she is getting extremely mouthy. "She isn't even my real mom-" Sofia begins before I cut her off. "Yes she is. She is just as much as your mom as I am. What you said was entirely out of order. When she gets home from work, YOU are apologising. And you're apologising to Y/N too." I had to set boundaries before I dropped the bomb of her moving back with me.
