I continued to show Noah around the city while riding our scooters, with his driver always following us from a distance in case Noah ever needed him for something. It was a little more comfortable now that we knew each other a little more, and the fact that it was still the day I met him made it a little bizarre.

We had a late dinner at nine at night at a small restaurant near Liberty Square and then I ran out of places to show him, the last one being the one after dinner. I checked the time. I knew Aunt Julia wouldn't be home yet since it would still be particularly early for a party of single ladies to end at twelve midnight for her.

"Aren't you tired yet?" Noah asked as we sat at a fountain at Erzsébet Square.

I hesitated. "A little, but I guess that I just want to make the most out of the time we have left before you go back to Sweden." I admitted.

He smiled. "Maeve, I've already had the best time in with you ever since forever. I do think that you're in need of sleep, though."

I placed my forehead on his shoulder as I sat beside him. I sighed. "Alright, fine." I took a moment to clear my mind and suddenly, I found myself awoken by Noah.

"You've been sleeping on my shoulder for the past fifteen minutes. Are you really that sleepy?" He asked, wrapping an arm around me as I leaned into his body.

I couldn't answer, since I was too tired to do anything; even humming a simple 'yes' was tiring.

"So I presume we're not scootering back to your house, are we?" He inquired.

I hid my face in his chest and he wrapped his other arm around me, bringing me closer to him. "Alright, I'll just say we're not doing that." He sighed to himself. "Brace yourself, Maeve. I'm carrying you to the car."

His arm went all the way down to the underside of my knees, lifting me up without breaking a sweat. I could feel how sculpted his body was against mine, and I assumed he was also carrying the two scooters. I wondered how much this man could take as I was slowly falling back to sleep again.

I could hear a car door open. "We're going back to Miss Maeve's home." He informed his driver before putting me down in the limo and sliding in after me. He hugged me close to him, his upper arm becoming my headrest. I could feel him playing with my blond hair as I finally fell into a deep sleep once again.

Hours later, I woke up, finding myself in my bed, dressed in a nightdress with absolutely no knowledge about how I got there. Then I started to remember yesterday's events; from getting into the accident where I hit Noah, all the way to him sending me home.

I figured he must have just left me at the doorstep or something while leaving it all to Aunt Julia; I doubted that he even carried me up to my room. I didn't expect for him to care so much for him to do that after only a day of knowing me, so I didn't hold high expectations for him.

I went down the stairs, still groggy from sleep, and Aunt Julia was pouring milk into her glass as a plate of cookies was laid aside on the counter. She saw me and quickly closed the milk carton.

"Had a good sleep?" She asked, with a knowing glint in her eyes.

I frowned, wondering what she was trying to imply. "It was fine. Why?" I responded.
