One week passed by pretty fast.

Caterina, whom I last saw talking on the phone with the Crown Prince of Spain on the phone before my date, turned out to have really long phone calls with him. If she wasn't talking to him, she'd be texting. I honestly didn't know how they could text that much. I wasn't much of a texter, and I didn't like calling either. I just used my phone for social media and that was it. Oh, and work, of course.

Other than that, Christoffer and Noah seemed to be getting along. They'd been hanging out a lot more now and there wasn't any bad blood between them anymore. It seemed that when I first suggested to Noah about spending some time with Christoffer before our date, he'd taken my advice and it went well for him.

Just yesterday, the both of them had returned from a whole day at a private golf course. They were joking around like old buddies with mischievous grins on their faces. King Henry and Queen Louise even seemed pleasantly surprised about them suddenly on good terms with each other during dinner that evening.

"Good evening, Mom, Dad," Christoffer greeted with a wide grin on his face as he took his seat beside Margaux. He gave her a chaste kiss on the lips and settled himself down. "How was your day today?"

Queen Louise was about to grab her first bite into the three-course dinner when she paused upon hearing Christoffer's unusually positive tone. She looked up at Christoffer, taking in his mood and gave him a small smile. "There was a lot of debate in parliament today, but we managed to end it for the day. Other than that, I think our day went fine."

"Oh, that should be good." Christoffer nodded before eating his starter.

Across the table from where the King was sitting, Queen Louise glanced up at him at the same time he looked at her, and they shared a look before looking at Christoffer for a very short while.

Christoffer talked to Noah as if the past few years of ignoring him didn't happen, and since they had been talking like that for the whole week, it wasn't strange, but to King Henry and Queen Louise, it was. I couldn't help but stifle a laugh with Margaux beside me. Caterina was too busy texting to even know what was happening ever since she came back from a quick visit to a county she was the duchess of in Sweden.

Queen Louise cocked an eyebrow at me and I simply masked my stifled laughs with a wide grin on my face. She observed me for a few more moments before focusing back on her food.

After dinner, King Henry requested for me to meet in his office, and it reminded me of my first night here, when he told me I had lessons with some of the most important people in Sweden the next day. He was probably calling me in about important professional matters, since he very rarely talked to me about personal things.

I knocked on the doors before hearing his usual 'come in'. I pushed through one of the doors and found him sitting at his desk like it was his throne, with Queen Louise by his side as she stood beside him, her hands on his shoulders. They looked like a power couple personified, even in private.

"Your Majesties, you asked to see me?" I questioned as I closed the door behind me.

"Yes, well, we're just going to have a quick discussion before you can leave the office." Queen Louise smiled. "You can take a seat, if you want."
