Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault
As my body left sleep behind I could feel an unfamiliar warmth against my side. The heaviness of my eyes left as I noticed Bellamy's arm had moved to secure itself across my waist. His hand rested gently against my lower stomach as our legs intertwined below.
I slipped out of his embrace before standing up and dusting my jeans off. Last night's late conversations were running through my mind before Charlotte spoke up.
"Are you Bellamy's girlfriend?" Charlotte asked as my head snapped in her direction to spot her body curled up against the cave corner. She sat idly watching where I stood next to Bellamy with my jacket slung across her shoulders. I wondered to myself how long she'd been watching Bellamy and I.
"Hah, that's funny." I instinctively chuckled at her comment as Charlotte frowned in confusion.
"Then why were you two cuddling?" Charlotte frowned innocently looking at where Bellamy laid with his back to us.
"Oh honey, that's nothing don't be silly." I replied with a smile shrugging off her comments before stepping closer and offering her a hand to get up. Charlotte smiled softly before passing my jacket back. I made my way over to Bellamy before kicking his leg gently.
"Wake up sleeping beauty." I mocked as he groaned rolling over to his back to see Charlotte and I hovering over him. I made my way to the cave entrance without waiting for him to get up. I followed the light sneaking into the cave before looking out onto the forest clear of fog.
"All clear." I called back into the cave as Bellamy and Charlotte came forward. As my eyes met Bellamy's I noticed the softness his face held last night had vanished back to his hard expression. I stood still as Bellamy walked past me without a second glance to exist the cave.
"Anybody out there? Jones?" Bellamy called out making his way into the forest as Charlotte and I followed his lead.
"We're here!" Someone called out as we followed the voice's direction to find some of the hunting crew further into the forest.
"Where did you guys end up?" I spoke up.
"Made it to a cave. Where's Atom?" Jones replied as the group fell silent. We ended up splitting up to search the forest to find Atom before continuing hunting. As I navigated through the forest I heard Charlotte's scream as I bolted in the direction, realising she'd disappeared from behind me.
