"Why'd you have to twist the knife? Walk away and leave me bleedin', bleedin'"
Say don't go - Taylor Swift
BELLAMYS POV
After the flares had finished I realised I hadn't seen Octavia since our fight in the woods when I was searching for the radio. The majority of the camp had gone to bed but I searched endlessly looking for her, with no success. Eventually, I found myself making my way to the only place I could think to go for help. Lucinda's tent...
I hesitantly pushed aside the flap and peered inside, my heart pounding in my chest. In the dim light, I saw Lucinda's figure sprawled across her makeshift bed, her back turned to me as her bronzed skin bathed in the faint moonlight. For a moment, I hesitated as Lucinda lay there with her slender frame only covered by the fabric of her bra. My eyes wandered before I forced myself to look away, shaking my head to clear the sudden fog that clouded my thoughts.
"Lu." I whispered as I reached out to gently shake her shoulder. Slowly, she turned to face me as her eyelids fluttered open, emerging from the depths of sleep. Squinting in the darkness, her expression was a mix of confusion and concern as she registered my presence in her tent.
"This better be good." She mumbled under her breath once her eyes caught on mine. She sat up leaning back against her arms as she raised her eyebrows waiting for me to explain myself. I felt a flush of embarrassment as I realized my gaze had accidentally wandered. Rolling her eyes, she reached for her tank top and pulled it over her chest with a sigh in exasperation at my lack of restraint.
"I need your help." I asked as she frowned at my request. It was unlike me to seek help from others but I needed all the help I could get to find Octavia. "I can't find Octavia."
"What? When was the last time you saw her?" Lucinda asked with concern as her fingers threaded through her hair in a nervous gesture.
"She caught me in the woods before I got to the pod. I told her about Jaha and then she left to go back to camp by herself." I replied feeling a deep guilt over the fact I left her in the forest by herself, knowing there are grounders out there. "I've checked the entire camp, Lucinda, she's not here. I don't know what to do."
