Shai's pov
"Guys, mom? I need my dress!" I said laughing nervously. Everyone freaks out but my mom gets my dress off the stand and I step into it. Its a big, full, white ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. After the dress is fully on, they put the veil on and hand me my bouquet of flowers. I hear the piano start to play the traditional music for the walk down, I take a deep breath and breathe out. My breaths are shaky and my mom comes and says "Your beautiful Shailene." I smile and walk in front of the doors. I see my dad waiting for me, he smiles and I wrap my arm around his. The doors open and I start to walk down the isle with my dad on the left. I gasp as I see the isle. It is full with pictures of Ansel and I. The start of the isle has the first picture I have ever taken with Ansel which was on the divergent set. As I went down the isle the pictures were getting closer and closer to the present. I was smiling or laughing in every picture, then I realized, Ansel always makes me happy. Even if my day was going horrible he would fix it with one smile or stupid joke. I get to the end of the isle it says "A new page." clearly in Ansel's writing. It has a arrow that points up to the alter. I look up and see Ansel smiling. I return the smile and see his eyes tearing up. Tears of my own start to well up in my eyes but I swallow a couple of times to stop them. I step up to the stage and look at Ansel. "I love you." He mouths to me. "I love you more." I mouth back. "Impossible." He mouths. Ansel is in his tux and looks really hot. For security we have guards just in case Miles,Violetta or Nadia tries something. The priest starts out with "We are all gathered here today to join these two people in holy matrimony." I kinda zoned out and thought about the rest of my life with Ansel. I smiled at the thought of finally calling ansel my husband. But i was snapped out of my thoughts when the priest said "May the rings be brought up." Nat comes up and gives Ansel my ring and Zoe comes up and gives me Ansel's ring. "Thanks." I say smiling and in return she gives me a quick hug. "Now we will start the vows." I walk up and get closer to Ansel. I slip his ring on and smile at him. He looks up at smiles. He leans in and whispers "If i could I would so kiss you right now." I laugh and then the priest tells me to repeat after him.
" I, Shailene Woodley take you, Ansel Elgort, to be my lawfully wedded husband to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, until death do us part." Ansel smiles then grabs my hand and slips my ring on."I, Ansel Elgort, take you, Shailene Woodley, for my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, in sickness and health, until death do us part." Ansel says smiling like crazy throughout the whole thing. I almost cry again but I hold them in. "And now for your own vows." The priest says and then takes a few steps back. I hold Ansel's hands in mine and take a deep breath. "Ansel, we have been through so much together these past few years that it seems impossible to break us apart. From Divergent to now I have always loved you and I intend to keep it that way. No matter what, I will always love you, throughout your hold career I will always be there supporting you. I vow to be the best wife I can be and make you feel loved. I promise to cherish our time together and love you for the rest of our life." Ansel wipes a tear off his face and smiles. "Shailene," he starts off, his voice is all raspy because he has been crying which makes me want to cry. "I vow that I will be the best husband I can be and to make you happy every single day. I promise to love you and like I promised myself I promise to fill our relationship with many surprises. This-" he said gesturing to the isle. "Is one of many for tonight. Your such a beautiful person on the outside and the inside. You are the most important thing to me and I don't know what I would do without you. Id probably die. I vow to love you for as long as I live and to never leave your side. If you were to leave me and say you hated me, i would still chase after you... I love you Shailene. Words can not express how much, I love you" Ansel said. By the end of his speech we were both crying our eyes out. Now for the last part. I smile and the priest says "Ansel Elgort, do you take Shailene Woodley to be your wedded wife, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her for better or worse, in sickness and health,to be faithful only to her, for as long as you both shall live?" "I do." Ansel says with excitement and smiling for like the millionth time today. But this smile was different. It was the biggest on yet. "Shailene Woodley, do you take Ansel Elgort to be your wedded husband to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, in sickness and health and to be faithful only to him so long as you both shall live?" "I do." I say with joy in my voice, looking straight at Ansel. I start to get nervous because I hate kissing in public and even worse in front of my family, Ansel and I have been talking about it for a while and he told me to just image that we are the only ones in the room. Just like at home. "If anyone has any objections, speak now or forever hold you peace." The priest said. We waited for a minute and my heart started to race. "Okay, I now pronounce you Mr. and Mrs.Elgort! You may kiss the bride!" The priest says happily. Ansel steps closer to me and whispers "Its just you and me." I smile and crash my lips to his with a sudden burst of courage. I hear our family and friends cheer. As we were kissing I feel Ansel slide his tongue into my mouth but I don't stop him because its our wedding day and I know he has been waiting for this moment the whole ceremony. I pull back after a little while because we aren't the only ones here. "Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Mr. and Mrs. Elgort!" The priest says again and then the crowd starts to cheer again. Ansel and I run down the isle and go outside. I have to ask Ansel if we can keep the isle. We have a few minutes before reception and as I was walking with Ansel he pulled me into a empty room. He cupped my face and crashed his lips to mine. After a 3 minute make out session I pulled apart and said "I love you Ansel." We both smiled and he said "I love you too Mrs. Elgort."
