Ansel's pov
I finally get to leave the hospital. The doctor said it was okay for shai to still live with me because it might help her get her memory back. "Ready?" She asks. "Yep." I say. Our hands brushed together, I was about to grab it when i remember that im not allowed to do that. We walk to my car and then we get in. "Where are we going?" Shai asks. "Home." I say backing up. "Home?" She asks. I look at her. "Oh, my apartment." I say. Shai nods then gets on her phone. Her phone, pictures of us are all over it and all the things about the accident are on social media! I quickly slap her phone out of her hands. "Ansel what was that for?!" She asks. "Um, just dont go on your phone right now." I say. Shai sighs then says "Okay." "Okay." I say. Im allowed to say that because she still remembers about
Fault. The car ride home was pretty awkward but I tried to save it by asking her simple questions. "So, how are you?" I asked looking at her. "Good." She said. "Thats good." I said nodding. Shai nods and moves around in her seat. Well that didnt work. We finally got home ending the long awkward car ride. I opened the door to my apartment and shai followed. "Do you mind if I take a shower?" Shai asks. "No, not at all. Mi casa es tu casa." I say quoting Augustus. Shai smiles. "Where is the bathroom?" She asks. "Oh sorry, forgot." I say. I walk upstairs then go to our room. "The bathroom is right there and all your clothes is in that dresser." I say. She looks confused and asks "Why is all my clothes there?" Crap. I forgot again. Shai's pov
After my shower I wrap a towel around my body. I look around and realized that I left my clothes in Ansel's room. I open the door a little then look around to see if the coast is clear. No Ansel to be found. I walk out and drop my towel, I start to look for clothes but all of a sudden hear the door open. I turn around and see Ansel, stuck in surprise, like he was frozen. "Ansel get out!" I yell throwing a pillow at the door. Ansel slowly covers his eyes and closes the door. "If only she knew how many times I have seen her naked." I hear him mumble. I start to blush, probably turning extremely red. What does he mean? I quickly put on my bra and underwear then a tank top and comfy shorts. I make sure im not blushing anymore then i walk downstairs. I see Ansel in the kitchen cooking food. I walk in and sit on the counter. Ansel starts to act weird like i am distracting him. He keeps looking over at me once in a while then mumbles something under his breath. I look down and see that he is making one of my favorite meals. "Woah Ansel where did you learn to make that?!" I say extremely surprised. He starts to think then finally says "Lets just say someone we both know and someone I love." I nod still confused. I start to think who else would know that recipe besides me but no one comes to mine. "Alright." Ansel says placing the dishes on the table. I go sit down and wait for Ansel. He takes off his aprons which i cant deny he does look pretty hot in...Wait! Shai, no stop it! Ansel comes back and sits down on the other side of the table. He smiles then says "I hope you like it but im going to warn you, I haven't perfected it yet." I laugh and say "Its the thought that counts and it looks pretty amazing." "Thanks." Ansel says.
While we ate in silence I start to think about what happened in Ansel's room. The way he stood there and stared at me naked like it was a everyday thing to see me like that. I also couldn't push aside these feelings I realized i had for Ansel...

Ansel's pov
After dinner Shai said she wanted to watch a movie so we went upstairs to my room to watch one. About five minutes into the movie Shai said she was cold so I told her that we could get under the covers. She smiles as her cheeks started to redden.
We got under the covers and I wrapped my arm around her while she cuddled into me. I smiled thinking of the time before our accident and how badly I wanted to kiss her right now. But the closets i got was a kiss on her cheek and I got one in return. I looked down at her and smiled. She looked up at me and smiled right back then we both looked back at the screen.

I woke up and felt arms around me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw the most beautiful girl in New York. Her arms were wrapped around me and she was cuddled into my chest with her face nuzzled into my neck. I smiled at having a little piece of the past, the way things were before the accident, the way things should be. She was the cutest thing you could wake up to. But sadly it had to end. I tried my best to get out of bed without waking her up and I can proudly say it was a success. I made my way to the kitchen to make her favorite breakfast. Im trying little things to help her remember something.
The whole day we acted like the couple we were, so much that i almost forgot that she lost her memory. She watched tv, cuddled, kissed each other (on the cheek) hugged and just talked without it being awkward. It was after dinner when Shai said she wanted to watch another movie. I agreed and put on A White Bird In A blizzard. Shai never lets me watch this so i thought i would give it a try. But the new Shailene didn't let me either so we ended up watching something else. During the movie I decided I would "make the move" on her just to be funny. I faked yawned then extended my arm and wrapped it around her. Shai smiled then blushed. She held my hand and scooted closer to me. After the movie Shai and I just talked about random things. "Who is the most important person to you?" She asked. "Well, there's this girl who I am madly in love with. I would do anything for her and would die if she left me. But we hit a minor bump right now." I said. Shai let go of my hand and looked sad. She got up without saying a word and went upstairs. About eight minutes later Shai comes down wearing a really short dress and high heels. "Where are you going?" "Out." She snapped. "No you aren't." I say getting up. "Oh, so are you going to take that away from me too?! God, your so annoying. You dont let me do anything! You took away everything, you must really hate me." Without even thinking I yell back "I did all of that because I love you!" I felt like everything in the world went silent. But all Shai did was grab her coat and leave.
