Ansel's pov
We had an hour till we got to paris and it was 5 am in the morning. We are probably gonna get to our hotel suite at 7. I ordered a suite in this really fancy hotel for Shai and i, but of course she doesn't know. I plan on surprising Shai as much as i can in our relationship. I know she doesn't like them but ill show her how to love surprises. Shai slowly lifted her head off of my shoulder."Are we almost there" she asked her eyes barely open and her hair is a mess. "Almost my love in 50 minutes" i said flattening her short hair. "Ansel" she whined then she wrapped her arms around my stomach and nuzzeled her face in my chest. "Hm" "I want to get to our hotel. "Well just a little more time" i said.

Shai's pov
We finally landed and then we got all our stuff. Then called a taxi and that's where we are right now in a taxi to get to the hotel. I asked Ansel what hotel we are going to stay and he said holiday inn but we stopped at a fancy hotel that had a french name. "Are we stopping to meet your manager or something?" I asked Ansel and he shook his head. The bellhop came and took our bags. We walked to the front desk and Ansel said "shansel" and the lady handed us a key. I looked at Ansel confused and he smiled and grabbed my hand. The two doors opened and my mouth dropped wide open. Ansel got a huge suite, they left our bags on the floor and then Ansel walked up behind me and whispered in my ear "its all for us" then i smiled and kissed him. "Do you have a show tonight?" I asked him. "Nope." He said popping the p. "But we are going out later so be ready for a fancy evening" he said then i smiled and walked up to him. "I love you" i said wrapping my hands around his neck. "I love you too" he said wrapping is arms around my waist pulling me closer. I kissed his soft lips and pulled away. "After about a year and a half its still wow" i said then he nodded and said "i know i still get that feeling in my stomach" i smiled and walked over to the tv. There were a bunch of games and movies. We played Jenga and monopoly until we had to get ready for tonight. I opened my suitcase and found the dress i wanted. After i put on some makeup, the dress and my shoes i walked out and saw Ansel. Ansel stood there and said "Wow Shailene you look... beautiful" he hasn't used my actual name in a while. Its usually just Shai, babe or baby. "Thanks Ansel you look pretty fancy yourself " i said. Ansel was wearing a black tux with a with a white button up shirt under it. I have a dress on that has a golden top and has two straps, the bottom half is white and ruffled then i have on my white heels. He held out his hand and i took it. I had a golden clutch bag too. We walked into this fancy french restaurant that reminded me of Oranjee. We sat down and ordered our food. Once it came we started eating and talking.

After eating i thought our night was over but no Ansel surprised me again. We were walking and then we got a cab and it took us to the Effile tower. We got to a platform that was tall enough to see all of paris. I could see all of the lights the sight was breathtaking then Ansel said "Shai?" "Yeah babe?" I said then turned around to see Ansel on one knee holding a black box open with a ring that had a big white diamond in the middle. "Shailene Dianne Woodley, we have been together for a year and a half now and i can honestly say that it was the best year and a half of my life. I cant spend a second without you and i think i would die if i did. I always need you there with me. I love you so much. Will you do me the honor of marrying me?" Ansel said then i covered my mouth and started crying. I nodded and said "Yes, Yes, yes,yes a million times yes Ansel!" He ran up to me and picked me up and we twirled around. He placed me down and put the ring on my finger. I hugged him then kissed him full on the lips. He dipped me and deepened the kiss. We pulled apart and i said "I love you so much" then i put my hands on his cheeks as i looked right into his eyes. "I cant even explain how much i love you" Ansel said then we kissed again. In the back round fireworks started going off. I pulled back and looked at Ansel. "Wow that was perfect" he said. "You didn't plan that?" I asked him then he shook his head as we started laughing. We got back to the suite and opened the door. Then Ansel pushed me into the bed. He unzipped my dress as i kicked off my heels. I took of his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt. I started to take off his pants but he stopped me. "Doesn't this break our rule?" He asked me then i said "Ansel, forget that stupid rule." I said then Ansel nodded and said "good" he positioned himself and asked me if i was ok and i nodded. He started off slow but went a bit faster every thrust. He kissed me as he started going faster. Then he kissed my neck and kept his head down next to my neck. He got to a fast speed and my breaths started getting heavier and heavier. We both moaned, pleasure washing over us.

I normally don't do a authors note but guys! I have 1.37k reads on this book. What do you think of the shansel wedding coming up? Im also thinking of a squeal, let me know what you think in the comments though. But don't worry, there will still be a lot of chapters before the book ends.
