So guys I realized that the whole shai losing her memory was pretty confusing so I am going to clarify and try to make it less confusing for you guys. I am sorry about the whole thing and it would have been alot smoother if I remembered to write it in when it was supposed to happen. So here it goes and I hope this whole thing makes more sense.

So remember when shai got kidnapped by Miles? Then Ansel came to the rescue? The memory loss was supposed to happen after that. A week after the kidnapping Shai and Ansel were on their way to the allegiant set when the car accident happened. Ansel woke up in the hospital with some scrapes and bruises and immediately asked for Shai. Later Shai came in acting different and Ansel knew something was wrong. Ansel was told that Shai had some serious memory loss causing her to forget everything up until The Fault In Our Starts. Ansel realises that he and Shai were still friends back then. He was told that he only had 3 weeks to get her memory back but couldn't force it on her. They went back home and Ansel had to deal with not being able to do the things he would do normally with Shai, he would just have to act like her friend. The next day while they were cuddling on the couch Shai asked Ansel who the most important person in his life was. Ansel said " Well, there's this girl who I am madly in love with. I would do anything for her and would die if she left me. But we hit a minor bump right now." Referring to Shai but since Shai lost her memory she had no clue she was the one Ansel was talking about. Since Shailene was developing feeling for Ansel all over again, she was furious to know that Ansel had someone else in mind. She ran upstairs to get ready. A few minutes later she came back down in a short dress in heels. Ansel asked where she was going and Shailene said she was going "out". Ansel said she couldnt go "out" but Shailene went on a rampage about how annoying Ansel has been. Without thinking Ansel said he did all those things because he loved her. Outraged Shailene left, slamming the door behind her. Two weeks later Ansel starts to think about what happens if Shai doesnt get her memory back but decides to go play music to clear his mind. Meanwhile Shai is upstairs. Shes starts to hear the music play and remembers it from somewhere. She goes downstairs and askes Ansel where that song is from and why dies she remember it. Ansel desperately tells her that he made a remix of the song and Shai helped him along the way. Shai sits down and gets a flash back of when she was siting with Ansel in the studio helping him with the remix. Shailene's head starts to hurt as she tries to remember something else. Then she gets a idea and kisses ansel. They kiss but sadly nothing comes back. Ansel says "I love you." And then everything came flooding back. Shailene remembered everything and finally got her memory back. Then the rest of the story happened. They got married, went to Hawaii and found out that Shai was pregnant.
