So this chapter thingy takes place between Chapter 71 to 72. This happened when Alliegent filming was halfway done. Where the book ended, fliming is almost over. And please read the authors note at the end because it does have news about the sequel! So I hope you guys like it! Bye!
Shai's pov
Ansel and I are on our way to the allegiant set. We are in the car when Ansel starts to change to radio station. "What, why?" I ask. "I don't like that song." Ansel whines. "But its a good song." I whine. "Fine, ill change it back." Ansel says going back to the radio station. "Yay! Thanks
babe." I say as i give him a quick peck. I laugh as I look up and gasp. "ANSEL WATCH OUT!" I yell trying to grab the wheel. But I was too late. Next thing I know I feel something collide with my side of the car. My head hits the glove compartment,hard and then I black out...
Ansel's pov
I wake up to the beeping noise of a monitor. I slowly open my eyes but quickly close them because of the blinding white light. I try to open them again and succeed. I look down and see im in a hospital gown. I lift my hand and see I have a clip on my finger. I start to remember why im in the hospital. The car accident. I start to look around the room frantically. "Shai. Wheres Shai?" I say as I start to get worried. "Calm down Mr. Elgort. Shailene woke up fine. She actually recovered faster than you." A doctor says walking into my room. "Can I see her?" I ask. "I will tell her that you want to see her so that she can come in." The doctor says leaving the room. I would have thought that Shai would be by my side if she woke up before me... Five minutes later my beautiful fiancee walks in. "Shai." I say trying to sit up. "Hey Ansel." She sits down and asks "How are you doing?" She asks. No tears, kisses or even a hug? "Good." i say. "Thats good." she says smiling awkwardly. Something seems off. "So are you okay?" i ask trying to get away from the awkwardness. "Yeah? Why wouldnt I be?" I look at her confused. "Just, nevermind." I say. We sat there in awkward silence for a while. Something seemed really off, like Shai was a whole diffrent person. "So are you ready for shooting?" She asks. "I dont really know if im allowed to shoot." "Thats a lot of excersie and running" I say. Shai gives me a confused look. "What do you mean? I am the one carrying a oxygen tank!" "What?" I ask her. "For the fault in our stars. I have to carry an oxygen tank all day." She says. Now I know something is really wrong. The doctor runs in my room. "Mr Elgort, I have to talk to you. Its serious." I look at shai and she looks worried. "Ms. Woodley, If you could give us a moment please." "I hope your gonna be okay Ansel." She says patting my knee. Shai walks out and the doctor walks next to my bed. "Whats wrong with me?' I ask getting worried. "This is not about you Mr. Elgort. It's about Shailene." My heart starts beating faster when he says that. "When Shailene woke up this morning, we ran some tests. Her brain test results just came back. Now as het fiancee, you may have noticed that she is acting weird. Right?" "Yeah." I say nodding. "Im very sorry to tell you but, Shailene has suffered some serious memory loss." My hreat drops. "What?" I ask not believing it. "In the accident, she did hit her head really hard causing her to lose a great deal of her memory. She only remembers up to the filming of The Fault In Our Stars." I start to tear up. We were friends back still then... "So now what? Can I show her video's and pictures?" I ask."No. We cant force the memories to come back. If you do she might get really bad headaches and things like that because the memories are forcing themselves to flood back in. In two weeks, if she doesnt get her memory back, im afraid its permanent." I start to cry. "So I cant show her anything to try to get her memory back and I only have two weeks for it to magically come back before its permanent?!" "Im sorry Mr. Elgort." The doctor says leaving the room. I call for a nurse and wait for her to come. After two minutes a nurse walked in. "What can I help you with Mr. Elgort?" "When do I get to leave and can Shailene come back?" I ask her. "We will run some tests and if they are all okay, you will get to leave today and I will call Shailene for you." The nurse says kindly. Shai, doesnt remember anything...We are still friends in her mind...

Hey guys! So im sorry that this update is really late but its still friday! I had this update ready this morning but wattpad wouldnt let me publish it. I even tried on my laptop and my sisters laptop but they said the same thing that wattpad is under maintenance. But I still did it :) So I have big news! Ready?.... THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL!! On the last Author's note I got 10 votes for a sequel so i am going to do one! :) Yay! And last there is going to be another chapter next friday!
