As the sun set below the horizon, casting a pink and orange glow across the sky, I was filled with nostalgia on our last evening in Santorini. Reflecting on the memories we had created on this beautiful island, I thought about our journey as a couple. Zara and I had been married for five months, our families having arranged our union to bring together our Sotho and Zulu tribes. It had been a time of discovering and appreciating each other, learning to love and respect in our own ways.
Tonight, we were joined by our South African friends, Thandi and Andile, whom Zara had met at the spa. They had invited us to a night of dancing and celebration at a local club. Excited to experience Santorini's nightlife, we entered the club to the sound of pulsating music and the chatter of the crowd. The dance floor was vibrant with energy, people moving to the rhythm and getting lost in the moment. Zara's eyes sparkled with excitement, her laughter filling the air.
She moved gracefully and confidently, her beauty shining in the dimly lit club. I couldn't help but feel proud that she was my wife, my partner in life.

Hand in hand, we walked back to our hotel, knowing that our time in Santorini would always be dear to my heart. Looking ahead, I felt hopeful and excited for the journey with Zara by my side.
