Lwazi's POV
I sighed, rubbing my tired eyes. It's been a week since Zara's parents came to our house, trying to resolve the issues in our marriage. But since then, Zara has refused to speak to me. I've tried everything to get her to talk to me, but she's stubbornly silent.I walked into the kitchen, hoping to find her there, but it was empty. I opened the fridge, looking for something to eat, but my appetite was gone. I missed my wife, I missed her smile, her laugh, her voice.
I heard a door open and closed, and my heart skipped a beat. Maybe she's ready to talk, I thought. But it was just her brother, Tau, walking into the kitchen.
"Hey, Lwazi," he said, his voice neutral. "How's it going?"
I shook my head. "It's not going, Tau. udadewenu namanje still won't talk to me ."
Tau nodded sympathetically. "Give her time, Lwazi. She's hurt, and o hloka sebaka."
I sighed, feeling frustrated. "ngiyazi, but it's been a week. I need to know what I can do to make things right."
Tau put a hand on my shoulder. "Just be patient. Zara will come around when she's ready."
I nodded, hoping he was right. I couldn't bear the thought of losing my wife.
As I walked out of the kitchen, I saw Zara walking down the hallway, her eyes avoiding mine.
