Zara's POV
When Thabo finally stood before me, his eyes pleading for forgiveness, I knew I had to be strong. With a firm voice, I said, "This is not the time or the place. Please, let us have this day in peace."
But he refused to listen, his presence causing a stir among the guests. I felt a surge of frustration and anger rise within me, threatening to spill over. Lwazi's hand found mine, grounding me in his unwavering support and love.
As the situation escalated, I knew I had to act. With a deep breath, I stood tall and faced my ex, my voice steady and resolute. "You have no place here. Please leave," I said, my words carrying the weight of my determination to protect the love and happiness I had found with Lwazi.
And as he finally turned and walked away, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. Lwazi pulled me into his arms, holding me close as we faced our families once again. In that moment, I knew that no matter what challenges came our way, we would face them together, united in love and strength.
