King Mthunzi's POV

As we drove up to the house, I could feel the tension in the air. My wife, the queen, beside me, we had traveled from Mpumalanga to the Free State to address the crisis in our children's marriage. Our son-in-law, Lwazi, had betrayed our daughter's trust, and we needed to act fast.

As we entered the house, we found Zara, Lwazi, and her brother Tau sitting in the living room. The atmosphere was heavy with emotion. Zara's eyes were red from crying, and Lwazi looked like he hadn't slept in days.

"Zara, ngwanaka," I began, "we've decided that you and Lwazi will stay together and work on your marriage." I looked at Lwazi, my eyes stern. "But you need to prove yourself worthy of our daughter's forgiveness."

Zara nodded, her eyes downcast. "I agree, Papa. But I need time. I won't be talking to Lwazi until I'm ready."

Tau, her very protective brother, spoke up. "I'll make sure she's okay, papa. Don't worry."

I nodded, grateful for his support. "We'll give you space, Zara. But know that we're here for you, always."

Lwazi looked up, his eyes pleading. "Zara, please—"

But I raised my hand, interrupting him. "Not now, Lwazi. Your wife needs space. Respect her wishes."

The room fell silent, the only sound the ticking of the clock on the wall. I knew this was just the beginning of a long journey, but I was determined to see my children happy again.
