Zara and Lwazi had been living together for about a week now. At first, there was a bit of tension between them as they navigated this new arrangement, but as they got to know each other better, they found common ground and developed a mutual respect for one another. Zara was beginning to appreciate Lwazi's sense of humor and his deep-rooted respect for tradition. Lwazi, on the other hand, admired Zara's intelligence and her unwavering determination.

Meanwhile, Zara's best friends, Mapula and Zandile, were eager to take her out for a special dinner to celebrate her new life with Lwazi. They believed it was important for Zara to have some time for herself and to maintain her own identity amidst the changes in her life. Zara hesitated at first, worried about leaving Lwazi alone, but he assured her that she should enjoy the evening with her friends.

The dinner was filled with laughter and joy as Mapula and Zandile shared stories and teased Zara about her new life as a future queen. Zara couldn't remember the last time she laughed so freely, and she felt a sense of normalcy returning to her life.

When they returned home, they found Lwazi pacing the living room, his expression dark and stormy.

"Lwazi, what's wrong?" Zara asked, concerned.

"You were out late," he replied, his voice tight with barely contained frustration. "You should have been back hours ago. It's not safe for you to be out at this time."

Zara felt a surge of both anger and hurt at his tone. "I'm sorry, Lwazi. I didn't mean to worry you. We just lost track of time."

Lwazi's jaw clenched, his eyes flashing. "I need to know that you are safe. Awusiye umkami nje, uwumthwalo wami"(you're not just my wife, you're my responsibility)

Zara felt conflicted. She understood Lwazi's concern, but she also longed for the freedom to make her own choices. It was a balancing act she had yet to master.

The tension hung thick in the air as they both struggled to find the right words. Zara knew that living with Lwazi would require adjustments, but she also wanted him to understand her need for independence.

It was clear that their journey together was just beginning, and they both had much to learn about each other and the delicate dance of compromise and understanding that marriage
