(3rd Person POV)

Synopsis: While taking a break, IceT encounters a sheep in wolf's clothing who offers some valuable advice...

IceT sighed to herself as she walked through the empty park on a sunny afternoon. The mouse was exhausted from the day's work of managing Crafty Corner and its patrons. She now was taking a break from all the conundrum whilst Limon took care of everything in her absence.

"I really oughta sit down for a minute," IceT thought, spotting a wooden bench nearby. "My legs are gonna give out any second now!"

Seating herself on the bench, IceT swung her legs as she took out her phone to check the time. Her phone case was designed to look like a brown iced tea with ice cubes and a lemon slice on its rim.

Looking at her digital clock, IceT saw that she had about 10 minutes left until she had to go back for her shift. IceT found herself dejected that she couldn't stay longer to enjoy the beautiful sun and the sky's cotton candy color, even more so that she had to do so all alone.

Whenever she found something that fascinated her, IceT usually shared it with her feathered friend, eager to hear her opinion on the matter.

"Even if I took a picture of this, it won't have the same effect as it's having on me right now," IceT thought, looking up whilst a group of birds flew by over the horizon.

Suddenly, the mouse heard a few steps in her direction, and turned her head to see a sheep in a dark gray wolf's suit walking towards her. The sheep then sat down onto the bench right next to IceT.

Butterflies fluttered in her stomach as IceT fiddled with her paws. She usually was sociable and aimable whenever she was helping customers at Crafty Corner, but the arrival of this newcomer made IceT feel the need to make conversation with the sheep - something they might not be interested in at the moment.

The sheep's downcast eyes were what scared the mouse at first. "What if I try to greet them, but they find it super weird?" IceT pondered, her own eyes shrinking at the thought of embarrassing herself in that way.

"Or worse, what if they just leave, and they forever think of me as some creep who intruded their space, and then it haunts them for the rest of their-"

"Are you alright?" A soft, feminine voice next to IceT asks, effectively surprising the mouse. "You seem kind of anxious."

Looking next to her, the sheep stares with a worried expression, clawed hands on her lap as she waits for an answer.

"Oh, me? I'm okay, don't worry!" IceT assured, releasing her balled fists at her sides. "I was just...thinking about stuff."

"Alright," The sheep replied as she looked into the distance. "Whenever I'm worried, I try to think about the things that make me happy. It helps me feel more focused and in control of whatever worries me."

"That's some good advice," IceT found herself saying out loud, looking up to the drifting clouds as they slowly passed by. "I usually keep myself worried for days on end. I think it's mostly because I get scared of what others think of me."

"Well, I don't think you should worry too much about what others think. I call myself a little freak, and even though it means I'm pretty weird and different from everyone else, I'm okay with it."

"That must be nice - not being affected by what other people think about you," IceT stated, looking down at her swinging legs. Truth be told, she sometimes had a bit of trouble ignoring whenever someone glanced at her strangely. Even after IceT moved to this new place with Limon, she could never completely shake off overthinking her actions.

After a moment of silence, the sheep broke it with a question. "What's your name?"

"It's IceT. Yours?"

"Just Cofi," The sheep replied, except now she was staring at IceT as if she had something on her face. "...Your name feels kind of familiar, but I can't remember where."

"Well, I co-run a shop called Crafty Corner not too far from here," The mouse explained, thinking it might jog Cofi's memory.

The sheep's eyes then lit up as she remembered the area. "Yeah, now I remember. My friend, Chikin Nuggit talks about you a lot."

"He does?" Before the question could be answered, IceT felt a tap on her shoulder and turned around to see Limon beside her.

"Limon! How'd you get here?" The surprised mouse exclaimed with a smile on her face, she and Cofi moving over to give the owl some room on the bench.

"Well, since there were barely any customers left, I decided to close up early and come see you," Limon responded as she sat down with them. "Looking at this view though, I'm glad I did."

"That's good," IceT replied as the two of them leaned onto each other, enjoying their quiet moment in bliss.

Eventually, the sun started dipping lower, and they both knew it was time to go.

"If you wanna drop by Crafty Corner sometime, I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy," IceT suggested as she and Limon stood up from their seats.

"That'd be nice," Cofi said with a smile. "Maybe I'll see you around."

With that, Cofi went back to admiring the evening sky as Limon and IceT went back to their home, glad to end the day content.
