(3rd Person POV)
Synopsis: During a rainy day, IceT sings rather passionately in her room while Limon thinks about their friendship.
Limon nodded her head to the beat of the music loudly playing from IceT's room as she flipped a page on the manga she was currently reading.
She and IceT were staying at home for the weekend, the rainy weather raging outside prohibiting them from doing anything outdoors. The owl had chosen to catch up on her beloved Japanese comic series "Love Slayer" in the living room while IceT started a new project of hers in her bedroom upstairs.
Limon didn't mind when her friend had decided to play her choice of music from her room, finding the muffled beat rather catchy to listen to. She could also faintly hear IceT singing along to the love song's lyrics if she strained her fluffy ears hard enough, smiling to herself as Limon imagined how the mouse would usually dance with free and easy movement.
It was one of the things Limon liked about their friendship: That they were able to express themselves freely to the other without fear of being judged or frowned upon. Whenever IceT learned about a new idea for an arts-and-crafts design, Limon was always willing to listen and even assist in creating it.
If Limon had found a new anime or TV show that interested her, IceT was there every time to lend an ear to her long-lasting rants said with passion and occasionally engage in them as well.
The two of them could always be themselves around each other, revealing parts of their personalities they wouldn't dare show to others and being sincere in their words and actions towards one another.
Both IceT and Limon may have seemed generally friendly, quiet and calm to those who observed them, but alone together they were playful, outgoing, strange yet truly happy, content to simply be with each other.
Out of nowhere, IceT's bedroom door swung open and the energetic mouse unexpectedly leaped out of her room, passionately belting the love song's lyrics using a marker as a microphone. Seeing this, Limon chuckled to herself, glad that she and IceT had grown to have such a close relationship with each other.
Suddenly, as IceT gripped her marker microphone in her paws, she sang her heart out to the point the mouse managed to hit an impossible high note in the song with a smile on her face.
Once she did so, IceT paused to look at Limon from across the stairs, both of them having shocked expressions before a surprised owl broke the silence.
"Oh my gosh...IceT, you did it! I don't even know this song, but you actually did it!" Limon exclaimed, putting her manga aside to walk up the stairs.
"Ohmigod I wasn't even trying!" IceT squealed as she raced down to her feathered friend and gave her a hug.
In that moment, at the middle of the stairs Limon and IceT were happy to have shared a treasured moment between the two of them.
"That song you were singing sounded quite fun."
"It really was! Do you think I can do it again a second time?"
"We still have some time before I start dinner. Can I join you this time?"
Yes, please! Get a microphone and we can do a duet!"
