(3rd person POV)
Synopsis: IceT and Limon walk home after they close shop and talk about the lack of employees on Crafty Corner's opening day.
As the day went on, both IceT and Limon continued to be of service to the customers in Crafy Corner until the shop's closing at 7 PM, when they had led the final window shopper out the door and locked it securely from outside. Then, the two of them went and walked to where their house was, having a conversation as they did so.
"So, how was your experience being a cashier today?"
"Overwhelming, but not too much. I can handle it for the most part, but it's not as easy as it looks. How about you, with having to walk around without much breaks whatsoever?"
"Honestly? I don't think you'd believe what I have to tell you."
"Try me. I'm pretty sure whatever you had to deal with, you dealt with it well."
"Well, I met a bunch of interesting people today, but the one who ended up being the pinnacle of my day today was this bunny I think was named Iscream, who tried to purposely make a mess and spill glitter all over the floor!"
"How'd you deal with it?"
"I almost didn't. If it wasn't for Sody Pop - this red panda kid they were afraid of showing up, Iscream definitely would've gotten away with it. I even had to use Sody Pop as a Panda Shield to get them to leave, it was crazy and everything!" IceT explained, throwing her hands in the air to express her point.
"Okay, now I'm listening."
"You mean you weren't listening to me before?"
"No, just that your story's more interesting now," Limon said as the two of them went up the steps of their house before opening the door.
As they went in and began to prepare their dinner, IceT quickly brought up an important reminder for them both: "Hey, we're meeting the people who sent in their resumes to work for us tomorrow before Crafty Corner opens, right?"
You see, some time ago (while Crafty Corner was still being renovated), IceT and Limon had interviewed and checked the resumes of a few animals who were interested in acquiring a job at Crafty Corner. However, the number of animals who applied wasn't going to be available on the day of Crafty Corner's grand opening much to Limon's displeasure.
"Well, yeah we are, but we only got about 4 people willing to work and get paid here, and even they couldn't make time to help us out on the Grand Opening of what will be their workplace! I'm not sure why you even bothered with them in the first place," Limon complained, serving a bowl of chicken soup (with a spoon) to IceT and preparing one for herself.
"I mean, I know we didn't get a lot of people when we were in the process of hiring, but if we turned them down, then we probably wouldn't have anyone at all to help us out," IceT explained as she took the bowl handed to her and took a sip, smiling to herself as she did so.
"I guess you have a point there," Limon admitted as the owl herself took a seat and sampled some of the soup. "Anyways, what do you think we're going to do for Halloween?"
"I was thinking about it, and maybe instead of candy, we could hand out crochet keychains instead! We don't have to do it to advertise for Crafty Corner, but I just figured it'd be a better idea than giving out sugary stuff that will only contribute to a kids' sugar rush."
"That sounds like a great idea! We have some materials from the shop we can use for your plan, and we can make Halloween-themed things like pumpkins and skeleton heads," Limon pondered, imagining the possibilities of what they could do.
The two of them then spent the rest of their dinner discussing their plans for Halloween before finishing up and going upstairs, where they slept in their rooms to prepare for the next day.

So...I don't think anyone's reading this, but I'm going to keep posting anyway since I'm also going to be cross-posting this fanfic on AO3 as well (my author name on that platform will be revealed later on next week)! It hasn't happened yet, but be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
