(3rd Person POV)
Synopsis: A brief introduction of IceT and Limon is given as they prepare for the opening of their arts and crafts shop.
A small, brown mouse smiled to herself as she looked upon the line of animals that had formed just outside the glass doors of her shop from the small window display lined with various crafts of her own making. She then turned around to face a brown eagle owl positioned at a wooden sales counter with a cash register drawer in the back of the shop as the mouse approached her.
"Alright Limon, we got 2 minutes until these doors are opened, so let's go over everything one last time. Remember to treat every customer with kindness and goodwill, and to place a 50% off coupon in the bags you give them for our Halloween sale coming in the next two weeks. If they ask about the Help Wanted sign, you can give them these flyers for them to look over," The mouse instructed as she gestured to the coupons and flyers inside a drawer in the sales counter.
"IceT, you don't have to worry. I've got everything handled ahead of time, so you do not need to fuss over anything else except welcoming these critters into the place you've worked so hard to create." Limon softly replied, leaving the sales counter to put a wing around her trusted friend.
"You mean the place we've worked so hard to create," IceT assured her as she wrapped her tail around her feathered friend and embraced her by the side. This action had a deep and personal meaning between the two of them, like an inside joke only they understood.
"I may have had the idea for this place, but it was you who encouraged and helped me achieve the shop of my dreams. You even decided to willingly work with me here as my co-owner to help me out!"
"Well, it's not like I had anything else to do with my life," Limon joked, causing the both of them to laugh for a moment.
Looking at a nearby wooden cuckoo clock, the two of them saw that there were only 3 more minutes left until they officially opened, so they swiftly commenced a final check-up together.
"Did we line up all the art supplies and Do-It-Yourself crafts where they're supposed to be?" IceT asked, rushing around the shop to inspect anything out of place.
"You could just call them DIY, but yep!" Limon confirmed, being careful to not knock down any standing paper model displays on the short wooden shelves.
"What about the usual craft supplies?"
"The pompoms, glitter, feathers, and everything else are organized and accounted for!"
"What about the fragile items, like mason jars and sharp scissors?"
"They're safely in the top cupboard where they should be."
"Are the Thanksgiving-themed crafts where they should be?"
"If you mean by the window display, then yes!"
"1 minute left!" IceT cried out after a glance at the cuckoo clock as she scampered as fast as she could to the glass doors of her shop and grasped the handles with her paws, her eyes wide with both excitement and anxiety. The animals outside took notice of this and chattered enthusiastically, preparing to enter the shop they had been waiting in line for.
"Remember: You got this!" Limon reminded her as she went over to the sales counter in a much calmer manner than her rodent friend.
IceT smiled at her, grateful to have a wonderful and caring friend like Limon to have her back during this moment.
The clock struck 9 with its cuckoo call and IceT unlocked, then swung open the glass doors, proclaiming with a loud voice for everyone to hear: "Welcome, one and all, to the place you've been waiting for: Crafty Corner!"
