Lucifer found himself in a black room, no doors, no windows. The black room seemed to be an endless void. He started walking, trying to find and exit. After what seemed like hours of walking, he found nothing... no exit, no people, nothing. He was starting to give up, when a voice was heard.

???: Lucifer... you cannot be here.

L: "What.. who are you?"

???: "That is only for me to know. You must leave. Wake up."

L: "Wake up?.."

???: "Yes. Wake up. You must not be here now, you are not ready. Wake up..."

The black void suddenly turn white, blinding the king. The next thing he knows, he is laying on his bed, with a cold towel over his forehead. He groaned as he sat up. He saw his daughter, on the edge of his bed playing with Razzle.

L: "Charlie?..."

Charlie turned around to see his father well and awake. A smile was quickly plastered on her face as she hugged him.

Ch: "Dad! I was so worried!"

L: Ugh... what happened?"

Ch: "I don't know much, but Alastor brought you to me in his arms. You were unconscious. He had told me Misfortune had spiked your drink... I took care of it."

Lucifer took few minutes to recover from his memories, remembering being harassed by a taller woman, most likely being Misfortune.

L: "Now I remember, that woman, Misfortune, she spiked my drink and tried to... never mind. Is she still here?"

Ch: "No, she is not. Alastor and Vaggie kicked her out of the hotel."

L: "Oh thank Satan... I didn't like her one bit."

Charlie got up from the bed, Lucifer trying to also get p and follow behind. Charlie looked back and headed back to her father making him sit back on the bed.,,

Ch: "Dad, maybe you should rest for the day..."

L: "Char-Char.. I get that you are worried for me, but I'm fine! Pls I need to get my work done."

Ch: "Dad... please take the day off.. for me?"

Charlie looked at her father with these puppy dog eyes which he couldn't resist. He sighed as he sat down on his bed.

L: "Fine... but you have to let me work tomorrow.

Ch: "Alrighty! Thanks dad!"

L: "No problem duckling..."

Charlie gave her dad a quick kiss on his cheek and left him resting in his room. Once he made sure he was gone, he got up and headed to his work desk. He needed to finish an important letter for the Ars Goetia family and it needed to be sent by tomorrow. He figured he would finish the letter and then rest. What's the worst that could happen if he didn't rest for a little?

Meanwhile, Charlie was heading to Alastor's room. She figured that maybe he could lend her a hand and watch over her dad, Making sure he properly rests. She knocked on his door, and waited for a few seconds before his shadow answered, letting her in.

A: "Charlie my dear! What brings you here?~"

Ch: "Oh, nothing much! It's about my dad."

A: "What about the king?"

Ch: "He woke up from his.. uh.. slumber, a few minutes ago. I left him in his room resting since I had some stuff to do. He told me he would but I don't believe he will. Could you look out for him? You know, make sure he rests?"

A: "Oh, sure my deary."

Ch: "Wonderful! Thanks Al!"

Charlie then left his room, as Alastor submerged in the shadows. He appeared in Lucifer's room, behind him. He saw Lucifer, a big unwell, doing a letter. He sneaked up to him, and picked him up. The king squeaked a bit, surprised.

L: "What the- oh.. it's you.."

A: "Lovely to see you too!"

L: "Put me down! I need to finish the letter for the Ars Goetia family!

A: "Can't you finish later?"

L: "No! I need the letter down for tomorrow!"

Alastor put the king down on his bed and took the towel from Lucifer's forehead. The king pouted, crossing his legs (In a zetsy way) and arms. Alastor placed his arm on the king's forehead, removed it, and took the towel, dipping it on the cold water Charlie had left. He placed the towel on Lucifer's forehead and tried his best to make him lay down.

L: "Nuh uh. No way! I'm not resting!"

A: "Your majesty, you have a small fever. You must rest."

L: "And who made you in charge of me?! I'm fine!"

A: "Princess Morningstar herself ordered me to watch over you. And no, you are not fine. Now rest."

L: "Ugh, how dare she, that traitor. Can I at least finish the letter and then rest?"

Alastor glared at the king, who was giving him puppy dog eyes. In the end, Alastor sighed in defeat, and he look annoyed.

A: "Fine... if you must. But do it quick, Charlie will be mad if she finds out about this.

L: "Oh my God, thank you! You won't regret it!"

The king then got up as he went to his desk and continued t=on his letter. Alastor sat down on an arm chair the king had in his room, teleported one of his books in his hand and started reading. A few minutes later, Alastor could hear some light snoring interrupting the room's silent atmosphere. Alastor sighed as he got up and went over to the king who was sleeping on his desk. He picked him up, laid him down on his bed, put the cold towel over his head and placed a blanket over his small body so he could sleep comfortably.

Alastor walked over to the king's desk, reading whatever he was doing. He saw that the letter was finished, so he gently placed the letter in the indicated envelope, so that the king only focused on sending it in the morning. He walked over to the door, and before leaving, he turned of the lights, leaving the king in his peaceful slumber.
