- Chapter 43: Carnival -

Lucifer was walking around Lulu's World lover's side, holding Alastor's hand, basically dragging him. Tis new side of Lulu's World could only be entered with your significant other, meaning everywhere they went, there were lovers everywhere. He had a candy apple that Alastor had bought him. It had only been 30 minutes and Alastor was already tired. Lucifer on the other hand, had much energy to waste. This was going to be a long night.

Lucifer spotted a carnival game, in where the prizes were ducks. His eyes shined seeing the ducks, Alastor looked at him, scared for his money, but this was for Lucifer, his significant other. He would give his life for him, so what's the big deal wasting money on him? He works at the hotel, he'll get his money back. Lucifer jumped a bit, excited. Alastor clearly saw Lucifer's excitement, and he took his hand, walking towards the game. He gave the man wo was in charge of the game 5 dollars, which was what cost to play it. (It was that game were you have to throw a ball and knock down all the bottles) Alastor picked up a ball, and threw it with full force, knocking down all the bottle, and breaking the wall too. Lucifer squealed silently, and Picked a giant duck plush, showing it to Alastor. Alastor looked at his short lover, admiring his smile, his dimples, everything.

Lucifer held onto the duck plush like if e let go, it would run away. He ten hugged Alastor, Repeating "I love you" rapidly over and over again. Alastor chuckled, looking down at Lucifer and hugging him back.

A: "Darling calm down.~ I love you too, very much!~"

Lucifer buried his face onto Alastor's chest. Alastor blushed a bit, embarrassed by the fact they were like this in public, but he knew he shouldn't worry much, knowing Lucifer didn't care at all, and no one would dare do something evil to the king of Hell himself (Hah- yeah right.). His smile disappeared soon later, when he heard a few soft sobs. He grabbed Lucifer's chin making him look up. Indeed, the king of Hell was crying, although he had a smile.

A: "Lou.. why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?.."

L: "Oh no! You didn't do anything... I just never had anyone do this for me before..."

A: "Not even Lilith?-"

L: "Do not mention her.. please..."

A: "..As you wish."

Alastor bent down and gave Lucifer a forehead kiss. Lucifer then wrapped his arms around Alastor's neck and gave him a kiss. It was pretty long, as it lasted for almost 30 seconds. Lucifer pulled away, and looked around.

L: "Can we go to a ride?"

A: "Uh.. sure dear..."

Lucifer smile and took Alastor, leading him to a roller-coaster. Alastor's ears pinned down, a forced smile on his face. He wasn't a fan of rides, especially roller-coasters. Still, for Lucifer, he would get on it.

Lucifer and Alastor were now sitting on a bench, Alastor's head on his hands, while Lucifer patted his back, worried for his deer. Alastor got out of the roller-coaster really dizzy. If Lucifer knew he got like this after a ride he wouldn't have made him go on it.

L: "Love.. are you sure you are okay?"

A: "I'll be fine Lou.. give me a second to-"

His staff started vibrating and glowing. Alastor knew who this was, so he took his cane and held it up close. He looked at Lucifer, serious.

L: "Uh, is something wrong with your staff?-"

A: "No.. it's Eve."

L: "Oh."

A: "Let's see what she wants."

Alastor pressed the eye, answering the call. Lucifer took Alastor's free hand, giving him a bit of comfort.

A: "Hello Eve."

E: "Alastor, may you explain why the fuck i can't reach you easily anymore, and why my chain won't work?"

A: "I can't explain that, but my 'friend' can!~" 

L: "Hi!"

Eve stayed silence. She realized Lucifer broke their deal, she became mad, furious.

E: "Oh you little bitch. Fine, want to play that game? We'll play that game alright."

Right there and then, she hung up. Lucifer and Alastor looked at each other, worried and confused for what was about to come. Minutes later, Lucifer received a phone call from Vaggie. He pick it up, putting it on speaker.

L: "Hello? Maggie?"

V: "I don't got a lot of time but you two need to come back! Right now!"

L: "Why?! What's wrong?!"

There was silence for a long time. Then some screams could be heard."

V: "CHARLIE-"

The call ended. Lucifer dropped his phone, Alastor's ears pinned down. Alastor picked up Lucifer's phone, and with a snap of his fingers, they were at the hotel. What they saw, angered them both. The hotel somewhat destroyed, the sinners outside with the rest of the hotel staff, and Vaggie crying, holding onto and unconscious Charlie. Lucifer felt his eyes water, Alastor looking at everything shocked, a frown appearing. Lucifer ran towards Charlie, taking her from Vaggie and holding her in his arms. Alastor joined the devil, moving Charlie's hair out of her face. Tears fell down Lucifer's face onto his daughter, giving her a kiss on her forehead.

L: "My baby... oh my baby.. my sweet baby..."

Lucifers sclera turned into a crimson red, as he heard a woman chuckle. He looked up to see Eve, with an angelic spear. Lucifer gave Alastor Charlie, getting up as his wings, tail, and horns appeared

E: "Told you I'd play this little game of yours.~"

L: "You fucking messed with the wrong king.. bitch..."
