- Chapter 48: Inconvenience -

It's been a few weeks since Alastor got the ring for Lucifer. (And a few week since the did the nay nay) Alastor was very troubled. He didn't know where to take Lucifer that the both of them would like, and he was running out of time. He needed a bit of help, and the first person he could think of besides from Rosie, was Charlie.

Charlie and Vaggie were discussing wedding plans. Their wedding was in a month. Ever thing for them was ready. It would take place in the hotel's lobby and garden. Charlie was going through a list, when from the corner of her eye, she saw Alastor walking up to them.

Ch: "Oh he Alastor! Need something?"

A: "Actually, yes! Could he talk in private?"

V: "Nope, no way. I don't trust-"

Ch: "Vaggie, it's okay! I'll be fine!"

Vaggie looked at Charlie worried, then at Alastor, slightly pissed off. She sighed, nodding and then leaving the two alone.

Ch: "So, what did you need?"

A: "Well, it's about me and your father..."

Charlie gasped a bit, covering her mouth. She had a worried expression on her face. She had though something happened between the two, although, she became at ease when Alastor spoke up again.

A: "Don't worry my dear. It's nothing bad, quite the opposite actually!"

Ch: "Alright then! What do you need m help with? "

Alastor sighed, as he put his hand in his pocket, and then took out a small red velvet box. He showed it to Charlie, opening it, revealing a gold ring with a ruby. On the bottom on the ring, the initial A and L were carved into the ring. Charlie's eye widened, and a smile grew on her face as she started squealing. 

Ch: "YOU'RE PROPOSING?!"

A: "Quiet down my dear!! No one else in this hotel knows..."

Ch: "Sorry sorry!! Oh m God! This is fantastic!! Dad will for sure say yes!!"

A: "You think so?"

Ch: "I know so! He's never been more happier before you came along!!"

This calmed Alastor's nerves a bit. He still needed to ask Charlie for her help, but hearing from someone else he would say yes calmed him down.

Ch: "But why do you need m help? It's easy to propose!"

A: "That's the thing. I don't know where the both of us could go and like it, and i have very little time left! I was going to ask maybe you could help?"

Charlie though for a second. Her eyes shined as she got an idea. She jumped a bit and grabbed Alastor's collar and making him her height, whispering something in his ear.

A: "That's not a bad idea... Alright then, it's settled!"

Ch: "YAY!!"

Husk was cleaning some glasses that were left at the bar by an old married couple who were staying at the hotel. He was very bored and tired, hating his little job. His ears perked as he heard some squealing and some static. He knew that would most likely be Charlie and Alastor.

Ch: "YOU'RE PROPOSING?!"

Husk's eyes widened at the word proposing. So his boss finally got the guts to propose to the king of Hell. He smirked s he continued to clean the glass, his job a bit more interesting.

H: "Glad he finally gained the courage."

Lucifer was in his room filling of some files he needed filled by the end of the month. A letter teleported into his hands. It was from Asmodeus. He opened the letter and began reading.
