"You're gonna be nice and behave,a nice guy is taking your mama out and he wants to spend time with you too okay?" I said while putting his shirt on,he nodded

He gave me a thumbs up,I laughed before gently placing multiple kisses on his face as he grinned he knows how much we love him.

My phone dinged,I picked it up seeing it was from miguel.he texted me earlier and I was confused how he got my number but I figured it was the note from work

I smirked,I looked back at Daniel "ready? Let's go" I said before picking him up and bringing him downstairs

I don't know why but I feel nervous to see him,to see him out of work.Not having customers come in disturbing our conversation or anything,Thomas's weird ass not being there

I took us both outside,i glance seeing him in his car.he was wearing a hat which was rare cause I never seen him with one but it's due to dress code for work.

I locked my front door before going down the porch steps,he looked over now being in his sight.he quickly stepped out the car,coming to our side

"Hey" he said with a smile,he looked at Daniel "hey little man" I smirked as Daniel observed miguel up and down

"Please like me" he whispered to him,I giggled seeing Daniel just stare.Miguel moved his attention back on me

"you look beautiful" he softy says,i bit my inner cheek to calm my nerves

"Thanks mikey,you look nice" I said,he chuckled as he opened the passenger seat

"Uh I'm sorry I don't have a baby seat or anything" he says as he gritted his teeth,I shook my head

"I'll hold him,don't worry" I told him before he nodded as he exhaled out of relief,I got in with Daniel making sure he was on my lap.He looked around the car with his big eyes

I placed the seatbelt over us just in case,I'll die if something happened to Daniel.Miguel hopped in later on,he started the car before driving off

"Steakhouse was a great choice by the way" miguel spoke up,i hummed while playing with Daniel's fingers as he tighten them around my fingers

"I see you guys matching" he said,I looked at him with a light smile.He immediately returned the same before looking back at the road

"Yeah I always love matching with him,I think it's cute" I told him,he chuckled

"It is cute" he replied,I stared at him causing him to double look at me "what?"

"Nothing" i muttered,looking out the window on my side.I heard him softly chuckle before he turned the steering wheel with the one hand

I don't know but when guys do that,it's attractive in some way but obviously not for every guy.

We parked around the steakhouse "oh don't open the door,I got you" he said while quickly unbuckling his seatbelt

He jumped out the car,making way to my side then opening the door for Daniel and I.I smiled at him as I held Daniel closer so he didn't slip off my lap

Miguel reached his hand out,I didn't hesitate to place my hand in his so I can step out "thanks" I said.He nodded

"Anything for you" he mumbled before closing the car door behind us,I heard him lock it as we began to walk in the restaurant

We got sat down as they also brought a high chair,I gently placed Daniel in it.He looked at miguel and randomly begin giggling making miguel do the same

"He's adorable" he said as he pinched his cheek for a second,I smiled

"Yeah he's literally the cutest" I say as I caressed his head having him focus on his mama,I looked into his big eyes

"Hi baby" I mouthed while raising my eyebrows,he grinned.I glanced over seeing miguel eyeing me "what?"

"Daniel is lucky to have a mom like you" he said after placing his elbows on the table,i tilted my head "it's nice to watch a mom love her kid"

"He's my world" I say while rubbing Daniel's button nose making him flicker his eyes,miguel chuckled

"So what you in the mood for?" He asks while grabbing the menu,i shrugged "well you can get whatever you want"

"I don't mind paying half" i said,his eyebrows knitted

"Are you making a joke?" He asks,I scoffed "I'm paying y/n,I said it was on me"

I rolled my eyes "yeah that little rolling eye thing is gonna have to stop with me" he says while piercing his eyes through mine

I raised a brow,oh so he's that type..

TIME SKIP

Miguel and I ended up having deep conversations,he would interact with Daniel and I think Daniel was becoming fond of him cause he kept smiling with him

"Come on mijo,you're almost done" miguel says while feeding Daniel,I watched them in awe.Seeing a guy take care of a kid in the most simplest way is attractive

"So I want to ask you something but I don't know how you'll..you know? Feel about it?" Miguel says moving puppy eyes onto me

I took a sip of my drink as I raised my eyebrows "uh..what happened with daniel's father?" He says lowering his voice

My chest tighten,I cleared my throat as I looked down at my lap to fidget with the thick huge napkin "we don't have to talk about it" he says placing his hand out in front of me

"I'm sorry,it's just something I don't like remembering" I said,he nodded

"Yeah I understand but just know..if you need anything I'm a phone call away" he says staring into my soul

Everyone keeps telling me that,I always hear that they're there for me and to always go to them if anything.

From my brothers,From Lexi and now from miguel but I have a feeling miguel isn't just saying to say it but that he actually means it

I nodded "thanks mikey,that means a lot"

Something calm,I know you guys probably want to know what happened to the father but you'll guys find out eventually
