Y/N POV

I tucked Daniel into bed,he seemed pretty tired after all the food he basically inhaled.He loves having mama's food and he just can't get enough

I sighed until I heard a creak in the hall,i immediately turned my head knowing everyone else left besides Miguel and Lexi.

I saw Lexi standing there with a soft smile,I returned the same before raising my eyebrows signaling what does she need

She motioned her hand for me to leave the room and talk to her in the hall,I quietly stood up then made my way out the hall after leaving the door half open

"What's up?" I said

"Is everything okay with Miguel? He seemed off tonight and even Josh asked him if he's doing alright" she says now crossing her arms over her chest

I cleared my throat "he's been worried about that dude Xavier from my job..well Adri fired him but Miguel is kind of upset I never really told him anything about him"

She raised a brow before glancing over her shoulder to make sure Miguel wasn't near "well? Why didn't you tell him?" She asked

"Because I knew how he was going to react-for all I know he could've killed the guy the second I open my mouth" I said,she chuckled while shaking her head

"i think it's best you tell him everything even if it's the littlest things,i think you would want him to do the same if there was a woman at his job that was crazy for him." she stated

i sighed knowing she was right,i would've felt like how miguel does if he never told me anything about a girl at work or anywhere in general.

Later,i slowly walked downstairs with lexi behind me before seeing miguel picking up plates from the coffee table.He looked so calm but yet so annoyed by his expressions and i knew it was because of me

even if he's annoyed by what I do or say he still doesn't disrespect me which is hard to find.

lexi softly placed her hand on my shoulder "i'm gonna head out,josh is probably tired of waiting for me" she whispered before grabbing her purse nearby then heading out the door

That caught miguel's attention causing him to turn his head,all I did was just stare at him while playing with fidgeting with my rings.He did the same with his low eyes,he lowered his head

"i'm sorry honey" i breathed out "i'm sorry i didn't tell you about xavier but i was worried about how you were gonna act"

i walked towards him as he bit his lip still looking down at the plates he picked up letting me only see the icon on his hat

"Do you love me?" He says slowly lifting up his head,my brows knitted "do you?"

"Of course I do-

"Then tell me things from now on even if you know that I'll bug out..I expected that from you from the beginning of the relationship" he stated

I stood there silent,he went over to the kitchen for the rest of the plates.i just felt guilty but I didn't know how to make it up to him

Anything to cheer him up is what I needed,I walked into the kitchen seeing him wash the dishes "can I take you out on my treat?" I say with an unsure face but having a hopeful smile

"No" he muttered making me drop my shoulders,i tried to think of something but nothing really popped up in my mind

"Gosh mikey what you want me to do? Marry you for forgiveness ?" I say out of frustration,Mike quickly moved his gaze on me with a look as he turned off the water

My face drop as how serious he looked "you want me to marry you?"I say in a lower voice

He exhaled heavily while grabbing a nearby towel to dry his hands,he then faced his body towards my direction.

He leaned against the sink "it's not a bad idea" he mumbled,he shut me up with that look he gave me earlier

I couldn't even know what to say,I can't even put words together.I feel speechless like I can't open my mouth

"Marry me y/n" he spoke,my eyes slightly widen "I mean I got with you because I see a future for us and Daniel"

He stepped towards me now eyeing me,I inhaled sharply "mikey-

He immediately picked up my hand "come on baby you already told that asshole you got a husband so what makes it a difference? Let me actually be that"

He placed my hand against his chest with a tight grip with his brows curved looking like puppy "I'll forgive you even if you say no but can you imagine us married? For us? For Daniel?"

I closed my eyes tightly just thinking,my mind was everywhere.Daniel loves Miguel,I love Miguel and he hasn't done anything wrong towards me

All he ever does is show me unconditional affection and real love I never really gotten from a man but I never liked a big wedding cause I wanted my mom to be there for every moment of it

My throat tighten as I opened my eyes having little tears fall,Miguel reached to wipe one with his thumb causing my heart to melt

"Okay..let's get married" I whispered,the spark in Miguel's eyes came back before he pressed his lips against my hand

He leaned into embrace me,he held me around my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck while trying to breathe to lower my blood pressure

Im getting married..
