Y/N POV

Today was Daniel's first day of school,I'm hella nervous to leave him alone but I know I have to do it either way for him to face reality and just to learn how to be away from mama for a bit.

I tied his shoes as he laid his chubby hand on my shoulder to hold himself up "you're gonna be good okay?" I tell him after placing my hands on his arms

"I don't want to go mama" he muttered,I weakly smiled

"You have to go,honey this is school.You're gonna have so much fun and make so many friends,that's how I met Lexi" I told him

He shook his head as his face begin to scrunch,he's getting emotional "I know baby-

"Why can't you be with me mama" he whined,this broke my heart

"Mijo,you're gonna have a fun teacher and she's gonna teach you so many good things" Miguel says now bending down next to me

"Can't you come papa?" Daniel asked,I slightly smiled.Miguel softly chuckled

"I wish niño but this school is for kids like you,you're ready to learn and you're a big boy right?" Miguel states

Daniel then began crying,Miguel looked at me as I also begin to tear up.It just hits me that Daniel is getting older and it reminds me how I had to give him to Lexi to babysit all over again..

Miguel sighed "baby he's gonna do great but he needs his mama to show how strong she is too" he whispered,I inhaled sharply

Miguel's right,he can't see me crying too or he's just gonna be all over the place.

"Danny,I'll be with you okay? Everything is gonna be alright" I reassured him causing him to quietly stop sobbing

TIME SKIP

Miguel and I walked in the school with Daniel in Miguel's arms,we were guided to the main office for some paper work.

"I'll go drop him off in his class" Miguel told me,I raised a brow

"Make sure he sees you in the room until he feels comfortable or else he will make a big scene" I whispered,he nodded before pecking my cheek

He left the main office as I was stuck doing paper work,they ended giving me a blue card;basically asking who can they call for an emergency and who's allowed to pick him up

I wrote down myself,Lexi and my brothers.The last empty space,I stared at.My mind went into overthinking but I immediately pushed it back and quickly wrote Miguel.

I clicked the pen again before handing in the papers including the pen that belonged to them,I picked up my purse and sang it over my shoulder once again.

I walked into the hallway and to where Daniel's class could be,I quietly made myself in seeing Daniel sitting on the carpet as the teacher spoke

She looked like in her mid 30s,really pretty and so kind.she spoke to then with a gentle voice so they can understand

Daniel's eyes were puffy,I'm guessing he was crying when Miguel tried to put him down but he remained keeping himself together which made me so proud

I glanced over at Miguel who was feet away;keeping an eye on Daniel to make sure he sees his papa there.Daniel noticed me and his eyes lit up

He showed his adorable smile before slightly waving at me,I grinned as I waved back.i felt arms sneak around my waist

"He's doing great" Miguel whispered,I held onto my necklace as tears formed "he's also gonna be proud of you when you become the famous head chef one day"

That made my chest tighten "shut up" I say with a small laugh while wiping my tears,Miguel giggled as he kissed my neck

JOSH POV

I wanted to go and surprise Lexi at her little boutique that she owns,I bought her some lunch that I know she loves dearly.

i stopped at a red light,having one hand playing with my chin hairs as the other over the wheel.I looked around my surroundings which is what I usually do

Then,I noticed someone trying to hide their face from the public.What a weirdo

As the light turnt green,I slowly began driving up while still trying to figure who this person was.I then watch him look over to my direction and that's when I saw their face

"No fucking way" I growled before making a quick u-turn,he noticed me and quickly dashed into an alley.Luckily the alley was big enough for my car to go through

I drove after them until he realized there was no other way to go,the other side was blocked by a gate.he stopped in front of it then turned around facing my car

I calmly stepped out,sending dagger looks towards him "thought you left town Leandro" I spoke

"I plan to" he lowly says,I scoffed as I began walking over to him.I spit on the ground before I was inches from him 

"I was looking for your punk ass since you wanted to tell on my brother" I said having his face go pale "the fuck were you thinking!"

"Man he assaulted me"

"So you snitched,way to make him want to kill you,you should've left it alone and took it like a man" I scolded

"All I want to see is my son" he claims,I laugh

"He don't even know who you are.It's better if you leave my family alone" I demanded

"Or what?" He snickered,I was taken back that he would even asked me that dumbass question.I walked backwards to my car as he watched my every move

I went to the passengers seat and opened my glove compartment,I pulled out Carlos's glock and quickly pointed at Leandro

His eyes went wide as he immediately put his hands up in surrender "or I'll pop your ass right here and we can all have a good day" I say with a snarky smile

"You wouldn't-

I pull the trigger,hitting his leg making him scream in pain as he also dropped to his bullet free leg

"don't forget who I am ,I can play nice but only if you do.Now you leaving me with no other option but to kill you"

"Fine! Fine! I'll leave town! Alright I'll leave you and your family alone!"

"If I see you again,I'll shoot your head next" I threatened before going the driver's side and hopping in,leaving him there
