Y/N POV

Josh and I woke up early enough to go to the police station,I filed a restraining order quickly and they obeyed.Leandro isn't allowed near me or Daniel at all or they will arrest him

if he really wants to be involved in Daniel's life,I'll have to take him court and most likely I can put him on child support,but knowing leandro he wouldn't waste his time on a case he doesn't really care about.

Josh and I went back to his place where Carlos was watching Daniel,we walked into the house seeing Carlos chewing on chips as Daniel was beside him also eating

I chuckled "are you feeding my kid chips?" I asked,Carlos glanced at his nephew before back at me "what does it look like" he spoke

"Don't get smart" I squinted my eyes at him "well I have to talk with you guys"

Josh readjusted his hat before flopping beside on the other side of Daniel "what's up" he spoke,Carlos muted the tv as he looked over to me

"Since I have a restraining order against leandro and he can't come near us..I think it's time for Daniel and I to move back home" I say while playing with my rings

I watched Carlos face drop along with Josh repeatedly blinking to process what I just said "you're leaving?" Carlos asked

"Yeah I'm sorry guys-but we really did love being here with you and i loved that you guys protected us" I say now forming my hands in a praying form

"Wow it just seems so soon already,I mean we loved living with our little sister for a while again" Josh spoke

"Don't do that to me Josh,you get all emotional and it's hard to say no" he sarcastically scoffed while laying his hand over his heart

"That's not true"

"Liar" Carlos mumbled before popping a chip in his mouth,Josh side eyed him as I laughed

"Okay well,I'll help you pack Daniel's things" Josh offered.I knew he didn't want us to go especially Daniel

TIME SKIP

Josh tossed Daniel's bag into the bottom of the driver's seat,Daniel watched his uncle with his big eyes as I buckled him up in his car seat

"Thanks josh" I said as he backed up next to Carlos who had his arms crossed against his chest while having a serious face "don't be mad carl"

"I'm not mad" he coldly spoke,I tilted my head with low eyes not believing a word he's saying "we will come visit you soon alright"

I cracked a small smile "I love you guys" I told them as I hopped in the driver's seat,Josh grinned while waving as Carlos gave me a head nod

"See you later chica!" Carlos shouted,I honked twice signaling a 'goodbye' before backing up and driving off.

Later into driving,my phone began ringing and thankfully I was at a red light.i answered before placing it against my ear

"Hello?" I spoke

"Hey baby" Miguel softly said on the other line,my heart fluttered every time he called me something

"hey love" I said

"How's it going?" He asked,I told him about the restraining order and he stated that he's proud of me.i also told him I'm going back home and he'll come over in a bit to see me and Daniel

"I already miss you guys" he said,I cackled

"we miss you too" I told him while turning my car to the right with one hand

"Um I wanted to ask you something but I don't know if you'll be comfortable with it" he says,I sighed

"What is it?"

"Uh do you think that..maybe I can sleep over at your place tonight?" I raised a brow,I didn't mind it but it's out of nowhere so obviously I was gonna be caught off guard

"Oh yeah,of course" I say lowkey trying to hide my excitement,he exhaled out of relief

"I thought you were gonna tell me to go fuck myself" he joked making me giggle

"Never unless you tend to piss me off then yeah maybe" I told him,he softly chuckled

"I hope I don't do that,you deserve everything mi chula" I bit back my smile though he couldn't see me

After talking for a while,we both hung up.I felt loved again with Miguel,he's so affectionate and knows how to say the right words to comfort me or make me smile

What makes me fall in love with him is how he treats and claims Daniel as if he was really his,no man would do that just to get into a woman's panties.

I really do believe he cares for me and honestly more but that I can't be too sure of,I parked in front of my house before stepping out.

I glance afar seeing Lexi sitting on the porch steps as she was staring at herself on her mini mirror "Lexi?" I called out,she looked up

She slightly gasp as she tossed the mirror into her big purse,she picked up her bag along with herself and sprint over to me

"Hey honey!" She says immediately embracing me letting the smell of vanilla enter my nose "you're not gonna believe this but josh called and asked to take me out tonight"

My eyes widen "are you serious? Oh my gosh!" I squealed while I hugged her again,we pulled away

"Oh,let me help you with your bags" she says tossing her bag over her shoulder as she opened the backseat,she greeted Daniel in her baby voice

She pecked his cheek before she grabbed his bag,I was honestly excited for Lexi and my brother.They would be so cute and unstoppable knowing they're quite alike especially on how they show love

TIME SKIP

I cooked for Lexi and Daniel,I placed Lexi's plate in front of her "ugh this smells so good! You should be a chef" she said

I smiled "I always wanted to be one when I was little,I loved playing kitchen" I told her while watching take a bite,she slightly moaned making me laugh

"Also Miguel is sleeping over tonight" I say as I slid a ring off my finger then slid it back on to mess around with it

"Aw that's so sweet! Don't act grown though" she teased,I playfully rolled my eyes

"You don't act grown,you're going out with my brother" I mocked.Her cheeks tinted pink when I brought up Josh

"You tell me what happens tonight and I'll tell you what happens tonight.promise?" I say,she laid her fork down as she held out her pinky

"Pinky promise?" she muttered,I grinned remembering this been our thing since kids.I held my pinky and wrapped it around hers as we kissed our end

"Pinky promise" I spoke

Its gonna be a long night 😁
