Y/N POV

I placed the small pancakes on the plate before walking over to place it in front of Daniel who's in his high chair

I smiled at him as he widen his eyes at the pancakes,I moved my body back to the stove.I gazed over into the living room seeing miguel still fully asleep

His arms behind his head,having his muscles become visible.I smirked to myself while focusing back on my breakfast

I lift the bowl up as it pours onto the pan to create pancakes,I use a tool to help it fall more until I heard movements behind me.

I glance seeing miguel staring at me with tired eyes while stepping into the kitchen,his lips form into a side smile

"Morning" he says in his rasp voice,he sat beside Daniel "you need help mijo?" Daniel slightly nods

Miguel takes the fork and feeds him "you know we got work in a few" miguel says,I sighed

"Yeah I know,I just gotta wait for Lexi to come over so she can take care of Danny" I said,he nods as he kept his eyes focus on Daniel

"Do you pay her?" He asks,I chuckled "of course not.she loves to watch him for free" I told him

"You look good when you wake up" he mutters,my face got hot as I smiled.luckily,my back was facing him so he couldn't tell

"Mikey what are you doing?" I shook my head

"Feeding your boy and admiring you" he says with a brow raised,I picked up his plate to lay the pancakes onto it

I walked over to him and laid the plate in front of him,he pierced his eyes into mine as I also handed him his fork

"Thanks chula" he says "I'll love to have some of your ice tea"

"You really liked it?" I say with widen eyes,he repeatedly nods

"It tastes amazing" he says before placing his hands together in a praying motion "can I please have some ice tea?"

I giggled,he's so cute and I can't never say no to those eyes.Miguel is honestly the sweetest and most realest person I've met

I don't know what's going on between us. There's tension and I know you can cut it like a knife, he flirts heavily and I seem to act as if I don't like it but I actually do

It makes me feel some type of way. A way I haven't felt in years since I never really took a guy serious nor went on dates or even liked a guy, miguel seems to be changing that for me

After eating breakfast,miguel insisted on watching Daniel while I showered and gotten ready for work. I began pinching my earrings in

I heard the front door open downstairs. I scrunched my face wondering who's doing what but that went away when I smelt the vanilla perfume

"Lexi?" I called out,miguel and Lexi shared a few words before her sandals clapped its way up the stairs.I poked my head out seeing her with a grin

"Hey honey" she greeted.I opened my arms before closing them around her as she did the same "so I see miguel is with Daniel downstairs"

I hummed while bending over to pick up my shoes,she placed a gentle smack to my butt as she passed by.I chuckled while she flopped on my bed

"So I'm guessing he's playing daddy" she commented,I scoffed as I sat on the bed near her

"No he's not.He loves Daniel and Daniel loves him so they're close" I told her

"Just like a son and dad's bond would be,to be honest I think he likes playing the father" she teased while wiggling her eyebrows under her bangs

"Lexine no." I sternly spoke,she giggled while leaning her shoulder into mine making me smirk since I can't be mad at her

I slid one foot into a sock "so he stayed the night? That's new" she said

"Yeah he wanted to make sure Daniel and I were safe" I muttered,she made a confused look "Leandro showed up at the fair..last night"

Her eyes widen as her face dropped "what?" She slowly blinked,I sighed while shrugging

"oh my gosh.I'm so sorry baby,did he try to do anything? I swear if he did,I'll find that sick asshole and bury his body that's in pieces" she said through her teeth

I weakly cracked a smile as her gaze turned back to soft,she pouted before pulling me in for a embrace.I felt her grip onto me

We pulled away  "well I gotta get to work,thanks again for taking care of Danny" I say while getting up,she followed

She waved me off ;letting her bracelets make a nice sound

"Of course.I'll call if anything"

TIME SKIP

Miguel opened the passenger door before I stepped in,I pulled the little mirror down so I can check myself out.

Miguel jumped in.he turned on the engine as glance over at me "you love looking at yourself,don't you?" He smirked

I chuckled "yeah why not"

"I don't blame you" he muttered while placing his arm over my seat as he backed up the car,my heart fluttered

"Hey,you don't mind if we go to my place real quick so I can shower and change?" He says.I raised a brow "don't worry it's just Mason there.he's my roommate"

"You sure he won't be weirded out? I just met him" he raised his eyebrows along with a soft chuckle

"He won't care and you're not a stranger anymore so it's fine plus I'll be quick,don't worry i can't stay away from you for that long now" he teased making me roll my eyes

"Y/n I thought we talked about you doing that,stop it" he demanded with a serious look,I bit back my smirk before opening the door and stepping out

We both walked into his home,it smelled really good as if there were scented candles lying around.I looked at the pictures near the tv which were Mason's family and another frame with Miguel's

The living room was the first thing you walked into,just like mine though his couch was bigger.I'm guessing for his group that he always hangs with

"Okay I'll be back real quick.make yourself at home chula" he said as he shot me a wink before heading upstairs

I sighed while sitting down on the big couch,I crossed my legs as I glanced at my watch.we had enough time so we won't be late for work

I heard footsteps sprint downstairs,I look up seeing mason.he softly smiled once I was in sight "hey y/n,I didn't know you were here"

"Oh miguel came to shower and change" I told him,he nodded "oh good.he stayed the night" he says now sitting beside me while leaning forward with his fingers locked

"Yeah he wanted to make sure Daniel and I were safe for the night" he cackled

"He was really worried after telling us that the dude was Daniel's father,I mean I don't know what happened between you guys but I bet it wasn't good..and I'm sorry" he says with an sympathetic expression

I side smiled "thanks Mason.I really appreciate it" I say placing my hand on his shoulder

"Alright we're ready to go" miguel says jogging down the steps,his eyes quickly landed on Mason then my hand.his smirk faded

I stood up "yeah we gotta clock in before Martin freaks" I say,my eyebrows furrowed seeing Miguel's eyes are narrowed at Mason

I turned back to Mason who shook his head at him,miguel didn't look happy with Mason.what the hell just happened
