Y/N POV

I watched Miguel take off his black sunglasses and place them on Daniel,I smiled as Miguel grabbed his phone before taking a few pictures of Daniel.

I pouted in love with the way he is with Daniel,Daniel laughs with Miguel as Miguel laid his forehead against Daniel's.They both smiled together which melted my heart

Later,we picked up our stuff and decided that it was time to head home.

On the ride there,Miguel kept kissing my knuckles or having a blown out conversation with Daniel who was sitting in the back

"Can I stay another night?" Miguel asked,I raised a brow as I turned my head over to him

"Isn't Mason going to question why you aren't home for a second night?" I said,he scoffed along with a soft chuckle escaping

"He's not my mom but I will text him and let him know,don't worry about it" he says now placing his hand in my inner thigh

he did a light squeeze but it was enough to send chills throughout my body

TIME SKIP

I tossed Daniel's laundry into the washer while Daniel and Miguel were running around the house;playing tag as the laughter echoed all through the house especially Daniel's

I smirked to myself,Miguel kept scaring him when he tricked him by going to the other side which always caused Daniel to scream "be careful!" I shouted

They didn't respond but continued to play around,I just hoped they didn't get hurt from having fun.Daniel never gotten to experience that type of fun

I always tried to find a job or go to my brothers for money so he didn't have me to play with him besides his uncles or Lexi

I finally closed the top before turning on the washer,I walked downstairs seeing them chase after each other around the dining table.I playfully roll my eyes

I watched Miguel catch Daniel,he picked him up and began rubbing his face against Daniel's making Daniel giggle loudly

I smiled as Miguel gently placed him back on his feet,they were both out of breath.They gave each other a small high five

"Next time,don't run around the house like that.someone could get hurt" I spoke up

"Okay mama" Daniel says while trying to catch his breath

"Okay mama" Miguel repeated with a smirk,I raised a brow at him

"Only my son can call me mama" I whispered as I placed my hands on my hips,he raised his hands in surrender

"Sorry,that's my bad" he said.Though I knew he did it on purpose and he doesn't really care,that's something that I kinda like.

I squinted my eyes at him before changing topic "so what do you guys want to eat" I asked,they exchanged looks

I can tell they're going to be a unstoppable duo "surprise us" Miguel said,Daniel grinned and repeatedly nodded:agreeing with Miguel

I sighed "alright,I'll let you guys know when it's ready but don't do anything stupid" I say while pointing at them

"Yes mama" Daniel spoke,I glanced at Miguel

"What he said" Miguel snickered,my chest tighten before walking past them into the kitchen.I began taking out the tools I need for the food

I didn't want to make anything little,I actually wanted to use my skills to make something a bit dramatic and delicious that I know they both would love.

I focused on putting the ingredients correctly,I will make sure everything was seasoned.Miguel will come by my once in a while

He'll place a kiss on my lips or upper cheeks along with a gentle smack to my bottom then go back to playing with Daniel

I began cutting some meat against the cutting board while hearing the laughter continue in the living room which was music to my ears

I glanced over seeing Daniel almost falling off the edge of the couch,I gasped but thankfully Miguel caught him with his quick reflexes

I laid my hand over my chest,trying to let the feeling of my heart dropping go away.i exhaled deeply

"Thanks papa" Daniel blurted,Miguel's eyes widen as he held Daniel but Daniel didn't look fazed.Its like he knew what he said but at the same time,he didn't

My jaw slightly opened without a word coming from my mouth..

I stopped and slowly walked over to them "Daniel..what did you just call me?" Miguel softly asked

Daniel's brows furrowed before laying his big eyes on me  "papa" he mumbled,I immediately looked at Miguel for his reaction

Miguel's eyes soften,his lips slowly formed into a grin.i placed my hand on Miguel's shoulder;quickly getting his attention as he turned his head towards me

"Did you hear that!?" He exclaimed,I nodded

"I did!" I smiled,Miguel carried Daniel in one arm as he shots up from the couch and wraps my waist into the other free arm

I cackled since he squeezed me into his grip,Daniel just looked around his surroundings without knowing that his words had an effect on Miguel

After that,I went back to cooking as Miguel stayed with Daniel and kept making him laugh just by tickling him.Miguel's mood was way too brighten up

I know that melted his heart and made him happy,he's been Daniel's father figure for a while now.This would make any good man smile or even cry

I set up three plates but one smaller in particular,just for Daniel since I know he doesn't eat big people food a lot.He tends to get full easily

I pushed the hot fresh cooked food off the pan and onto the plates,I organized the table to look nice for us to sit and eat.

"Food is ready!" I say,footsteps were heard,heading into the kitchen

Miguel passed Daniel over to me before he sat down,I sat next to him with Daniel on my lap.Miguel always had his attention on Daniel throughout the dinner but obviously acknowledged me here and there

I wasn't mad at it,Daniel loves him and it's clear just by the title he gave to Miguel

I fed Daniel, he loved the food since he tried to be funny and act like he was taking some off Miguel's plate

Miguel didn't have a problem,he actually gave Daniel half of his.Miguel nicely took the fork from my hand and decided to feed Daniel instead

Miguel encouraged him to finish all of it "good job niño,I'm proud of you" Miguel spoke

"Thanks papa" Daniel muttered through his food,Miguel's eyes lit up along with the biggest smile on his face..

So cute 🥹
