Y/N POV

I exhaled after turning my engine off,I looked at the restaurant thinking about all the worst kinds of cases.What if I don't get the job? What if they're better than me? What if there's drama? Only one way to find out.

I stepped out the car while praying in my head that this all goes well,i forcefully walked myself into the nice air conditioning restaurant.

It was empty but there were staff around either cleaning or just having a chat,someone noticed me and she quickly rushed over to me.She looks young and incredibly professional

"Hi! You must be y/n" she says with a pleasant smile,she reached her hand out before I took it for a shake

"Yes that's me.uh I'm here for an interview?" I spoke as she nodded along,no bad vibes so far from her or from the restaurant

"Yeah we can go into the kitchen,there's nobody there yet so we can have time to talk" she said,I followed her small heels that clicked on the well-done wood floor

She's absolutely gorgeous,I can tell she's demanding but sweet.The color black suits her a lot especially in the makeup,she also had cute visible dimples only if she smiled

But other than that,she has the siren eyes and the rebellious natural look.i like her so far

We walked ourselves into the big kitchen,there were amazing equipment and I honestly felt like it was heaven for me.

"Wow" i muttered,she softly chuckled as she locked her fingers

"Yeah it's quite fancy" she said "so Wendy recommended you.She says you're an amazing match for this place and her son adores your food"

I made an unsure face "well yeah,a lot of people say that about my food but I don't know if they're just trying to be nice"

"Understandable but one thing about me that everyone loves is that I'm honest.so what I'm gonna have you do is cook for me then I'll take a taste for myself and we can see where we go from there" she says as she crossed her arms

"Sounds good" she nodded before motioning me to the big stove,I was amazed on what they had around here.Pretty much the dream kitchen I wanted in my dream mansion

"So what would you want me to make?" I asked her,her eyes flickered to the distant before they landed back on me

"Surprise me" she says with a smirk,I turned to the stove and switched it on.I'm thinking about making the dish that Lexi loved on thanksgiving a while back

She kept craving it each day,she begged me to do more so she can have some as leftovers.She stated that's the favorite thing from me so maybe that's what I'll go with.

The big kitchen double doors opened with a man.He glanced at me before looking back at the woman,she quickly looked over "there's someone on the phone asking for you boss" he spoke

"Okay I'll be there in a bit" she told him,he nodded then stepped away.Her gaze returned to me "when you're done,bring the plate out and maybe you're future coworkers can get a taste as well"

My eyes slightly widen,she smiled at me as she turned her heels out the kitchen.Now I feel a little pressured,I feel like I need my teddy bear which is Daniel

Miguel is with him back at his house with Mason,Miguel gave me a whole speech before leaving to come here.

He told me to not be afraid and to never feel like they're being harsh on me cause they're just testing me.I need him as much as I need Daniel

TIME SKIP

My breath hitched as I stepped out the kitchen with the plate in my hand,I watched some of the staff begin to put the chairs down from the table to begin opening.

The woman was looking at a paper as she was on the phone which looked like to be a phone just for the restaurant,I couldn't hear what she was saying but it wasn't none of my business

I gave her a soft smile as she looked up at me,she side smiled looking curious to the food.She grabbed a near by fork and took a bite

"Oh my" she muffled,she told the person on the other line to hold before calling two other people to try out my dish.They also became a fan of it

After,she walked me to the exit "I'm impressed and I think Wendy did a great job putting you in my life.How would you like to be one of the best chefs in my restaurant?" She asked

My eyes widen along with my jaw dropping "oh my gosh! Really?" I squealed,she repeatedly nodded before I couldn't help to embrace her

She giggled as she squeezed me.We pulled away and I thanked her one last time before pecking her cheek then I realized what I did "oh I'm so sorry! My best friend and I do that" I told her

She waved me off "don't worry about it,it's flattering" she said,I gave her my last goodbye before leaving the area

I couldn't wait to tell Miguel and Daniel..

I'll be putting the woman who's basically our boss in the 'Characters' so it will be changed so if you'd like to go and check who's our gorgeous boss
