Y/N POV

None of us heard about or from Leandro,we haven't even seen him around town.I believe after the incident and knowing we know he snitched,he definitely doesn't want to meet with any one of us again

I had the day off today so I took advantage to look for schools again for Daniel,I needed him to have some sort of education

I scrolled down my finger on the pad to look for more options,I heard my front door open "hey baby" my heart skipped a beat

I gave Miguel a copy of my house key so he can come in whenever he wanted,it hasn't even been 48 hours and he's already taking advantage.

"Hey honey" I say still keeping my eyes on my laptop screen,his footsteps entered the kitchen where I was sat at the table.

He quickly kissed my temple as he wrapped his arm around my neck "oh you still looking for schools?" He asked

"Yeah,were you able to find anything?" I said.He smiled

"Yup,my little cousin went to this school and my uncle said it was perfect.They're gentle,kind and patient so I think Daniel might like it there" he says as he hand me a small card

I looked at him in awe as I turned my body to face him on the chair "aw thank you so much Mikey" I say while hugging around his neck,he chuckled

"Anything for you and my kid" he says in confidence,my heart fluttered hearing him claim Daniel as his.

I could hear him do that so many times and still I'll get the stomach pain,I pulled away to turn back around;facing the laptop

I looked up the school's name,I read the good reviews and the good stars they received.They sold me,I'm definitely gonna enroll Daniel

"This is perfect babe" i muttered,he hummed while rubbing my shoulder with his warm hand.

Since yesterday,our first time doing it made us more connected.It felt amazingly painful and it was so worth it

Doing it on the couch was kinda cliche but I didn't want to traumatize my child and Miguel would feel uncomfortable doing so as well.

I contacted the dean at the school through email,I let her know I have a boy that I'll like for them to have.Daniel is pretty smart but his speech just needs more help

Even though he's only two almost three,he can say much just by his facial expressions or his verbal language.

The time I have off work,I try my best to have him speak more with me.He tends to get at least a word or two correct

"Hey,I gotta talk to you about something" Miguel spoke up

I hummed "y/n I need you to look at me" he said,this concerned me considering the fact he barely ever calls me by my name anymore and just the pet names

"What happened?" I say after facing my body towards him

"It's nothing crazy but I know we've been working together for some quite time but honestly,I don't want to be working at footlocker forever" he began

I fidget with one of my rings;taking it off then sliding it back on as i listened

"I actually kinda want to do something bigger and..I gotta quit" I raised a brow "I hope you understand"

"No,of course I do.Well what is it you want to do?" I asked

"I don't know if I want to tell you" he says while slightly scrunching his face,I scoffed

"Mikey I'm not gonna make fun of you,if it's your dream I'll be on aboard with you"

"Okay well,I want to be a film director" he says with a smirk

I raised my brows "really? Aw mikey why were you nervous to tell?" I say with a smile,his cheeks then turnt pink

"I don't know.when I'll tell people that's my dream,they will laugh and say it won't happen" he said breaking my heart

I laid my hand on his cheek "you can make it happen and I'll be your supporter through it all" I whispered,he bit his bottom lip before pressing his lips against mine

He then embraced me around my waist as his head was placed on my shoulder "I'm lucky to have a girl like you" he says lowly against my ear,sending chills on my spine.

I softly chuckled then pecked his cheek,he pushed himself away

"so since Lexi is watching Daniel at her place,can I take you out on a date?" He says as his hands were in a praying form "please?"

I giggled "of course"

"Good.Dress up nice like you always do" he said while slowly rubbing his hand up and down my thigh,he kept our eyes connected without leaving each other

"Okay then that means I'll go commando" I muttered as I got up from my seat,inches away from his face "what?" He spoke

"Nothing" I sang as I quickly walked away from him,I heard his footsteps follow me

"what did you say?" He snickered

I began sprinting upstairs "nothing!" I responded,his footsteps had me tensed knowing he's chasing after me

LEXI POV

I giggled as I babied Daniel by speaking gibberish while kissing his entire face,he just laughed loudly.I loved being his godmother

It's the best gift y/n ever gave me,I then placed him
on my lap to sit.I picked up my phone and went to my photo gallery

I always did this when he was younger when he first started speaking,I clicked on a photo "who's this?" I asked

"My mama" he says as he stared at a picture of y/n and I,I smiled before swiping to a group photo of y/n,me and her big brothers

"Who are these people?"

"My mama,my tia and my tio carl and my tio joshy" he mumbled while pointing his chubby finger at each person

"Wow you're so smart!" I exclaimed before giving him a peck on the head,I swiped again with a photo of y/n and Miguel.A photo she sent me when they first started going out

I wanted to see who Miguel was to him "who's this?" I asked

I watch his face light up "papa" he said,I gasp as my heart skipped a beat

"Wait who's this?" I asked away,looking at him in awe

"My papa" he mumbled,I pouted my lips.He thinks Miguel is his dad and the way he looks at the photo shows the love he has for Miguel

I wanted Daniel to have a father figure,I always thought y/n was already both roles since she does so much for him

But now Daniel does have a dad,I pray Miguel stays because then who knows how Daniel would react if y/n and Miguel ever broke up..
