Y/N POV

I continue to shake the pepper into the pan where the meat was,I turned to see the rest of the crew in the living room.They were laughing and having a conversation but miguel didn't look like he was in a good mood,

He barely even spoke to the rest but when Daniel tried to get his attention,I watch his whole mood change until Daniel will leave to be with Maddy or Lexi and sometimes Mason

"Daniel!" I called out,Daniel immediately turned his head over to me "can you come taste something for me real quick?"

He ran away from Mason and came into the kitchen as I was cutting some tomatoes,I put the knife down to bend down.

"Hey Danny,can you ask papa to come help me please?" I say while placing my hands on his face

"Okay mama but I thought you wanted me to taste the food" he pointed

"Yeah but then I realized it's way too hot and it can hurt your tongue so maybe later,okay?"

He nodded "okay mama" he said before sprinting over to Miguel,Miguel sat up as he saw Daniel going towards his direction

Then Miguel's eyes moved onto me,my heart skipped a beat when he locked his pretty eyes onto me.He stood up and began making his way over

I don't know what was up with him.He doesn't act like this when he has his entire friends over especially with Daniel around

"Daniel said you needed some help" Miguel spoke lowly,I crossed my arms against his chest while only staring at him "what?"

"What's up with you" I asked,he sighed while rolling his eyes "you've been in a mood since the grocery shopping"

"I'm fine-

"Don't lie to me please,that doesn't help our relationship" I told him

He kept his eyes on me for a while before wiping his mouth,he seemed uncomfortable with what he was gonna tell me and that worried me

I wanted him to come and communicate with me anytime something bothers him,I didn't want to be in a relationship if there's no communication

"That dude.From the grocery store..Xavier or whatever that cara de mierda goes by-

"Mikey-

I say as I pulled him away from the stove and away from the view of the living room so they don't see my expressions

"I don't care how I talk about him.You didn't see how he was looking at you when he saw you,he got all happy like how I see you or how Daniel sees you after a long day at work" he whispered

I raised a brow "mikey please don't get jealous" he scoffed before scratching the bottom of his chin with his head tilted up

I sucked my teeth "you're jealous" I told him,he raised his eyebrows then lowering his head "honey I told you that my boss handled and he's fired so he won't be around me anymore"

"You damn right he won't be around you anymore,he better not even think about you y/n cause I told you I don't play about you or my kid" he stated

"Baby I know please,can you just leave it alone?" I desperately whined to him

He sighed as he glanced at the ceiling "okay but for you..I'll leave it alone for you"

I slightly smiled before wrapping my arms around his neck as he placed his on my hips,I gave him a passionate kiss on his lips

"You kill me" he whispered,I giggled before he began attacking my cheek with his kisses

TIME SKIP

Lexi came into the kitchen to help me place the food onto the table for the others,it felt honestly peaceful to have your family plus your friends all together.

And they all get along so well which something I used to worry about before introducing them to each other

"So how are you and my brother" I asked Lexine,she chuckled with her gorgeous smile along with her lip combo that she always does

"We're really good,I mean I'm really happy with him and it's just like I imagined when he first asked me out" she says

"Really? No arguments or anything?" I asked,she shook her head while placing down plates

"No it's all peace and quiet,don't get me wrong we do have disagreements but we never went overboard to disrespect each other.We believe in communication" she said

I didn't get much communication when I was with Daniel's father,the arguments were terrible since he always interrupt me when I wanted to talk or try to get louder than me and talk over me just to get his point across

With Miguel, you're able to express your feelings and tell him if you feel a way but we never gotten into a bad argument where we had to do that

Though he does want to be heard,I always remind him to also hear my side of the story first so he can understand where I'm coming from

"That's cute Lexi,I'm happy for you and my brother" I told her as she smiled

As we finished,I stepped out to kitchen to call everyone for dinner.They couldn't wait to eat especially for the ones that knew I can throw it down in the kitchen

"Hey y/n,I can't wait to taste what you made" Mason commented as he walked into the kitchen.I chuckled before patting his back

"Yeah I'm sick of eating Tristan's wife dry food" Brady spoke,Tristan quickly looked over at him with a shocked expression

"Hey! You said you liked it so much that you wanted to take some home" Tristan argued

"Was your wife there?" Brady said

"Yeah?"

"Then I said that to make her feel good" he says before sitting down,some of the crew laughed except Miguel

"Alright relax and just sit down to eat" Miguel says while I sat near him as grabbing Daniel to place on my lap

"Prayer?" Daniel asked knowing we always say grace before eating

"Of course" Miguel says with a small smile at Daniel,everyone reached out their hands to lock with others before we bowed our head and closed my eyes

I smiled as I heard Miguel say grace..

Heyyyy! I knew it's been a min but I was focusing on work and me planning to get my surgery!
