                   Here we were, both families gathered around the dining table, eating dinner. Eun-Jun and the middle-aged couple were deep in conversation about God knows what. Just then, out of nowhere, the topic of marriage came up, and Hee-Won asked curiously "Marriage? Whose marriage?" "Y/N's marriage" Eun-Jun replied casually, causing me to choke on my food and I shot up from my chair in utter shock

"WHAT?! MY MARRIAGE?"

"What? Why are you reacting like this?" He asked in an annoyed tone, forcing me back into my seat with a glare

Turning back to the Jeons, he said in a sickly sweet voice, like my opinion don't mean anything in this marriage "Please don't mind her, she's still stuck in her teenage years"

Mr. and Mrs. Jeon chuckled politely, but Mrs. Jeon once again gave me a judgmental look

For them, this was a normal dinner, a formal discussion. But for me, it was a complete disaster. They weren't here just for a friendly meal they were here to see me. My so-called brother wanted to fix my marriage with a guy named Jeon Jungkook? Seriously?

I should've known he was serious when he mentioned marrying me off the other day. At the time, I had brushed it off, thinking he was just venting his anger, but hell, he was serious, DEAD SERIOUS!

"So, should we finalize the marriage?" Eun-Jun asked the couple and my gaze flickered to their son, Jeon Jungkook sat there with a calm expression, as if he already knew this dinner's purpose

Desperately, I turned to Hee-Won for help, but she gave me a helpless look, well I can't blame her, we both knew he wouldn't listen to her

Seeing no other choice, I decided to stand for myself as I again stood up, gaining everyone's attention towards me once again "Why are you asking them? Ask me! I don't want to marry! Didn't I already make it clear? I won't marry someone of your choice!" "Y/N, you're being too much now! Is this how you behave in front of guests?" Eun-Jun asked, gritting his teeth, as he was trying his best not to yell

"Ah, it's fine! If she doesn't want this marriage, that's totally acceptable! After all it's her life, her choice" Mr. Jeon said calmly "No, no, she's fine with everything I choose!" Eun-Jun interrupted, laughing nervously as he added "Actually, we had a sibling fight a few days ago... that's why she's behaving like this"

"That's not true!" I argued, but he shot me a furious glare and muttered "Shut the hell up right now and go to your room, or I swear you'll face the consequences"

I wanted to scream, curse at him, but before anything left my mouth his wife whispered "It's a big decision. You should've talked to Y/N first before inviting them" but he silenced her with a cold, threatening glare

"Let's not complicate things" Mrs. Jeon interrupted, her eyes scanning me with the signature judgmental look before turning back to Eun-Jun "Talk to your sister first. If she agrees, we can decide later" Her tone implied that I was some crazy teenager to her, but at that moment, I didn't care what she was thinking. I was beyond furious!

                    "HOW DARE YOU CREATE A SCENE IN FRONT OF THEM?" Eun-Jun roared, shoving me hard as soon as Jeons left. I stumbled to the floor but quickly stood up and glared back ar him

"WHAT ABOUT YOU? WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO FIX MY MARRIAGE TO GOD KNOWS WHO? AND WHO ARE YOU TO EVEN DO THAT?" I yelled back, storming toward the coffee table to grab my phone "I'll call unnie! Let's see what she has to say about this!" But before I could even unlock it, he snatched the phone away from my hands and slammed it onto the ground, shattering it

"You're going to complain to noona, huh? Now you want to ruin her marriage, too?" he sneered

"Jun, calm down, please" his wife, Hee-Won pleaded, placing a hand on his shoulder to calm him but he jerked her hand away and glared at her "It's all because of you and noona! If you both hadn't stopped me, I would've made her into a straight, obedient human by now!" She flinched at her husband's harsh words but didn't dare to argue
