Prologue

•.° Flashback - 2006

"D-doctor how is my wife? I-is she o-ok?" the middle aged man asked desperately while running towards the doctor as soon as he came out of the operation room

Seeing the doctor's face the man understood something was wrong but he decided to ignore the feelings and looked at the doctor with hopeful eyes

"Mr. Lee... please try to be strong" the doctor said "W-what are you saying, doctor? I'm asking how's my wife? Is she ok? And what about the child?" Asked the middle aged man aka Mr. Lee

"Your daughter is absolutely fine" Mr. Lee felt a little relief hearing the doctor but his mind wasn't calm yet as he doesn't know about his wife is yet

"But your wife... we're sorry, we tried our best to save her" the doctor said looking down when hearing the doctor Mr. Lee lost his balance and fall down on his knees while the two twins beside him gasped hard hearing their mother is no longer beside them

"Please try to hold your emotions, you've now three kids to take care of" the doctor said patting his shoulder and walked from their giving the twins a pity full look

There was silent in the hospital corridor as Mr. Lee wasn't in a condition for anything while the two siblings were too shocked to utter anything or to console their father but the silence were broke by a door opening sound and a nurse came out with newborn baby wrapped in towels in her arms

"Mr. Lee" the nurse called him, he looked up and got up from floor "here's your daughter" he took the baby in his arms and smiled a little seeing his newborn daughter "Lee Y/N, my beautiful daughter" he said admiring his newborn daughter & kissed her forehead

"But appa? I-is eomma-? Is it because... because of the baby?" The youngest twin Lee Eun-jun asked while looking at his father with swallow teary eyes "What are you saying, Jun? She's just a newborn angel" The older twin Lee Eun-ha said in disbelief hearing what his younger brother just said

"Then why did mom left us only when she born? She's definitely a monster who ate my eomma" Eun-Jun said when his father and sister glanced at each other then again at him only to see him turning to opposite side to leave from there making Mr. Lee signed

"Don't Worry, my pretty Y/N... oppa is emotional right now that's why he said that but I'm sure when he'll realise, he'll love you a-lot"

•.° Flashback - 2013

"Why's everything going down in the company" Mr. Lee said while going through some papers sitting in the living room of their mansion, in frustration he grabbed his hair & rested his back on couch but then he heard "I already told you appa, every bad thing is happening only after that little girl's birth... isn't that mean she's unlucky... at least for us?" Said Eun-Jun who just came to living room few moments ago and heard his father

"Son, why do you always drag Y/N in everything? She's just a kid and business is not about lucky unlucky, it's about technique... obviously I'm doing something wrong that's why our company facing all the losses"

Mr. Lee tried to make Eun-Jun understand in a soft voice but he didn't respond anything and was about to go from there but Mr. Lee again spoke which made him stop

"And you're also a kid so you better enjoy your life now along with study hard, there's still lots of time left for you to join business industry" "Appa?" Eun-Jun almost whined and sat on couch beside his father

"I'm not a kid, I'm seventeen already" said Eun-Jun which made his father chuckle and ruffle his hair softly with a smile

It's been almost ten minutes of father-son conversation and now the whole mansion was quiet again as Mr. Lee was continuing his paperwork when Eun-Jun was helping him in arranging papers silently but soon the room filled with a quick running footstep
