There I was ,alone in that hotel room. I felt so alone, so helpless, so weak. I hate this feeling. How am I going to survive in this cold ass world alone ,how am I going to take care of my siblings.

A week later.

NALEDI: Hi ,I'm Naledi Raboroko, I'm here for my 15:00 appointment with Dr.Van Der Merve.

RECEPTIONIST: Hi ,room 1 on your left.

So ,I decided to see a doctor you know . Before I decide to abort the child ,just a little check up .

MRS V.D.M: Hello Naledi ,take a seat . What brings you in today?

NALEDI: Uhm ...I'm expecting and I just came in for a check up . I'm considering my options at the moment maybe you could walk me through the process?

MRS V.D.M:Okay how about you lay down and see what we have there.

She prepped me for the ultrasound and explained everything. I finally saw my child. Damn I never thought I'd say that . It's small and barely there but it's visible. It's there and I can't believe I wanted to end it's life . Such a precious thing ...I..I want to keep it.

MRS V.D.M: Here are a couple of pamphlets explaining all of your questions Ms Raboroko. Read through them ,be sure on your decision and make an appointment with my receptionist okay ?

I gave a nod and walked out . And you wouldn't believe who I saw enter the door. KENDRICK!!He was walking with this beautiful colored girl ,she looked about 19 years old and heavily pregnant. What the hell? The girl obviously noticed me staring and she walked towards me but Kendrick tried stopping her

GIRL: C'mon sis I know my man is hella fine but he's taken .
And at that she lifted her hand to show me a goddamn ring on her finger. I was in complete shock . So shortly after we've broken up Kendrick fucking marries another girl .

I looked at Kendrick in shock and simply walked out . I couldn't fucking believe it, if she was pregnant with his child he must've slept with her while we were together.

*phone rings*

NALEDI: Hello?

CALLER: Naledi, hi . Ke Onalerona.

Onalerona is my cousin and I haven't heard from her since my parents funeral.

NALEDI:  Hi Ona . What's up ?

ONALERONA: Uhm I just called to tell you that Malume Jabu is very sick ,he got admitted into the hospital yesterday. I just thought you should know.

NALEDI: Oh okay. I don't know what to say ,I don't get a Hello, a how are you, for 5 years and now this . I honestly don't know why you called .

ONALERONA: Ho bua nnete Nkgono Maria said I should call you.She wants to see you Naledi.

NALEDI: I can't, I have to work Ona . Askies.

And at that I hung up .I can't deal with all of that stress, I have my own life to figure out I can't deal with people that abandoned me and my siblings.

A month later:

Life is slowly beginning to change for me. I found a job at a restaurant as a bartender and was able to pay off my student loan while attending my night classes. I came clean to Karabelo and Mpho about what happened ka Kopano and weirdly they're quite excited for the baby. I mean I'm also starting to see a little difference with my stomach. I decided to cut my hair shorter as resemblance of a new beginning. My grandmother called a couple of days ago pleading with me to pay her visit and I gave in so on Friday I'll be driving out to see her in kzn.
