chapter 7

*Naledi? Naledi wake up.*

I slowly opened my eyes and rubbed the sleep off of them . I was quick to see Zwide sitting next to me on the couch.

NALEDI: What happened? Where's Lihle?

ZWIDE: Don't worry about her,I bought her an Uber to take her home. Are you okay?

NALEDI: Ye ,I think so
I sat up from the couch.

ZWIDE: Let me get you some water, sit tight.

As he got up from the couch I pulled his wrist and he immediately turned around with a puzzled expression on his face.

NALEDI: How'd you find me.

ZWIDE (smiles)Naledi I own the club you went to. I'm not following you around or keeping tabs on you.

NALEDI: I never said that.

ZWIDE: Well that's what you were thinking.
I let go of his hand.

NALEDI: I need the bathroom.

ZWIDE: Go straight down the hallway and take a left .

I got up from the couch and he followed me.

I walked to the bathroom door and stopped.

NALEDI: So you're going to watch me take a shit?

ZWIDE: Just making sure you don't pass out.

NALEDI: I really don't have time for this . Take me home.

ZWIDE: Woah, you're already calling the shots. You wanna go home so bad ,take yourself but as for now you're being a selfish littleprick. No thank you,no thanks zwide you know things could've gotten bad but you were there to help me?

NALEDI: Why o bua like this is all my fault. This ,all of this is you . Someone might literally be watching me talking to you ...

ZWIDE: So what !?
He interrupted raising his voice.

NALEDI :I have been through hell and back. All because of you.

ZWIDE: Me ? What the did I do?

NALEDI: Oh so you didn't bring you little goons to fuck up my entire life?

ZWIDE:What are you on about Naledi? Which goons are you talking about?

I rolled my eyes, grabbed my  handbag and headed for the door.

ZWIDE:Stop okay . Just stop

NALEDI: What ?

ZWIDE:It's not safe for you out there ......
He jestered his hand towards the couch and I slowly sat down.

NALEDI:O bua kang?

ZWIDE: What if I told you that Kopano was actually sent to kill you.

NALEDI: Kill me?Why? I didn't do anything Zwide this doesn't make any sense.
I said ,breaking down into tears.

ZWIDE :Nothing is going to happen you . I promise.
He said picking me up 'bridal style'. At first I resisted but the I gave in as I took in the smell of his masculine aura. I looked up to meet his eyes that were glaring down at me . We locked eyes for good 2 seconds. I hung on to his neck as he carried me upstairs and put me on a bed.

ZWIDE: Take a warm bath ,I'll find something comfortable for you to wear ,yezwa?

NALEDI: I ...I can't.

ZWIDE: I'm not taking no for an answer.
He raised his eyebrow and I knew there was no way of convincing him.

He left the room and it was beautiful. I walked to the bathroom and it was even more beautiful, I can't even explain it.
