Zwides pov:

Where was this all coming from? This is the first time she says something that absolutely shut me up.

NALEDI: Zwide.
She said as she cupped my face leaning in for a kiss.

ZWIDE: Naledi I'm tired, you're tired. We should sleep .
I said walking to the bed and getting ready to rest.

NALEDI POV

...I woke up and found Zwide gone. Vele what was I thinking asking him that? I just thought that ..I don't know. I got myself ready for work and drove my siblings to school.
*Incoming call from Fikile*

NALEDI: Hi Fikile.

FIKILE: Hey babes, it's been a minute since we spoke, how have you been?

NALEDI: Agh I'm doing good, can't complain. And how have you been .

FIKILE: I have great news and I'd like to spill the beans over brunch. How about that?

NALEDI: Uhmm I'm free from about 12:30 is that cool?

FIKILE: Yeah perfect, I'll come pick you up.

Time flew and Fikile arrived to pick me up from work. We drove to a cute restaurant not so far from Zwides house.

NALEDI: So girl talk whats up?

FIKILE:So vele vele I've been feeling a little sick lately and I wanted to check what was wrong right?

NALEDI: Hmmm.

FIKILE: I went to the doctor and I found out that I'm 2 months pregnant!
She said tearing up.

NALEDI: Bathong Fikile that's amazing news,what did Bokang say ? Oh my gosh, kea bona mahn hore oa glow'a .

FIKILE: I haven't told him yet,I want to throw a little surprise thingy for him. And I'm going to need your help.

NALEDI: I'd love to.

FIKILE: But before we talk about that ,how have you and Dingiswayo been?

NALEDI: Yoh Fikile.
I said folding my arms.

FIKILE: That bad?

NALEDI: Its like he's leading me on you know. It's like he makes me want him then the next minute he's shrugging me off.

FIKILE: How long has it been going on ?

NALEDI: For like 2 weeks now. One minute he's hot ,the next minute he's cold .I really don't know what to do.

FIKILE: Have you tried talking to him about it?

NALEDI: Ofcourse I have and ofcourse all he does is to dimsiss it.

FIKILE: Just bare with him. He's been through alot lyena. Especially when it comes to relationships Naledi.

NALEDI :What do you mean?

FIKILE: You didn't hear this from me but his previous partner landed him in prison and accused him of rape,abuse you name it.
Damn.

FIKILE: Apparently the girl agreed to sleep with him and after he took her virginity, she cried rape and obviously since e le mosadi people believed her and Dingiswayo went to prison for 3 years.

NALEDI: It all makes sense Fikile. I just wish he told me.

FIKILE: Look Naledi he's a great man ,yes he's not perfect and yes he makes mistakes but give him time,be patient with him.

NALEDI: Yeah uhmm I don't know what to say . Taba ha di fele.

FIKILE: Ka nnete.

We said our goodbyes and she drove me back to work.
