As soon as I reached the hospital with Hamza, I couldn't think about anything at all. The tension had clouded my mind.

We took steps towards the elevator, and that's when we reached the fourth floor.

The door opened, and I saw my whole family there - Ammi, Abbu, Chachu, Chachi, Anabiya, Ahmed, and Dada. I took steps towards Abbu and hugged him

As soon as I hugged him, he said, "𝗗𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗶, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆." I hummed in response.

I saw my Ammi, Chachi, and Anabiya sobbing. My eyes went towards Dadu, the only person who had no expression.

I took steps towards him and kneeled down. I kept my hand on his hand and looked up at him. He said, "𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲, 𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝘄𝗼𝗵. 𝗜𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶 𝗻𝗮𝗵𝗶." I was shocked by his words. I know how much he loves Dadi. She is his whole world. I smiled at him.

(𝙙𝙖𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮) ( 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙣𝙩 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝗲 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮)

I took steps towards the room where Dadi was kept. I peeped in from the door, which had a big circular-shaped glass for anyone to look in. I saw her unconscious.

That's when I heard Chachu's voice. He said, "𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻. 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵. 𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗜 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱."

As soon as he said that Dr. Shah hadn't checked on Dadi for a week and assigned another doctor, I was fuming with anger.

What the fuck? I trusted him, as he's the best doctor in India, yet he failed. I'm not gonna leave him. I looked at Hamza and said, "𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄."
