Walking back to the radio station the next morning showed it in the same condition as it was yesterday morning. Crowded with people for a reason of which I was unaware. I nibbled on my lower lip before walking past the crowd and towards the back of the station. Shortly I came across the back door and slipped inside. "Penelope Cruze!" A loud voice boomed throughout the hall making me jump slightly. The voice made me stagger down the hall and look around until a strong grip grabbed my arm. "Miss Penelope Cruze you are a genius my friend!"

Looking over I saw my boss grinning like a mad man. He was a man with no neck, full head of black hair, a handlebar mustache, and a wearer of a tight suit and thin glasses. Yes, my boss had the most typical appearance of the history of bosses obsessed with money. "Mr. Sullivan? What are you talking about?"

Mr.Sullivan laughed loudly and ruffled my hair. "Have you not noticed yet? All the radios in this area, who knows the whole city, have your channel on! Do you know what that makes me?" He asked trivially. Making him release my arm I fixed my hair that he had ruined. With a grumble I spoke, "More money-?" "You're right! Money!" He interrupted clapping his hands together. "So here's the Miss Cruze, you continue having your 'tell all' and I will give you 40% of the money you're making." My eyebrow rose and I eyed at him. Of course he's wanting to make money off my story that has problems of making up it's mind of being happy or dreadful. He's not really an original man, is he? So much of stereotypical boss like actions. "Look Mr.Sullivan, you don't have to change my pay because I'm making you more money. I'm fine with what you're paying me. Thank you for the generous offer but I must decline." I stated slipping my arm out of his grip. "Now sir, could I please go so I can continue with my recording?" The man sighed fixing his glasses so they couldn't fall off his nose. Rubbing the back of his head he shrugged now letting me pass by the man. Shaking my head I walked past him and to my radio station. "Well that explains the crowd here..." Upon walking inside I saw Fawn walking back and forth the recording room and the sound board making sure everything was shipshape. At my entering he stopped and looked over with a deep breath. "Late, again." "Mr.Sullivan had to talk to me about a raise, but that doesn't matter right now. Let's get back to work." I stated taking my seat in front of my microphone. Fawn nodded simply and took his seat at the soundboard as I slipped my headphones on my head. The two of us exchanged a glance which was broken by my solid nod giving him the cue to start. "And we're back for the day. Well, the first half of the day is gonna seem pretty chill for the most part. But calm conditions don't last long. Despite that, I will share the events of what happened in Risembool." "Risembool?" Looking over to Fawn I nodded firmly with a soft hum. "Yep. That would be Ed, Al, and Joslyn's hometown. Very nice place, rural, quiet, peaceful. But with those brothers around I'm surprised a word like quiet was used for the town..."

Human kind cannot gain without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we thought that was the world's one and only truth.
