Ah Xenotime, this place so well known for it’s wealth and gold… It wasn’t that big of an adventure and we didn’t receive too much of the warm welcome. But other than that there were funny and obviously memorable. However, all I can say here is this trip and that whole experience changed everything between us as a group. With that being said, I present to you, The Other Elric Brothers.

Human kind cannot gain without first giving something in return. To obtain something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we thought that was the world's one and only truth.

-Alphonse Elric-

I used to rule the world

Seas would rise when I gave the word

Now in the morning I sleep alone

Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the dice

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

Listen as the crowd would sing

"Now the old king dead. Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key.

Next the walls were closed on me.

And I discovered that my castles stand

Upon Pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing

Roman Cavalry choirs are singing

Be my mirror, my sword and shield

My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain

Once you go there never

Never an honest word

And that was when I ruled the world

The town of Xenotime was barren and once again looked like a ghost town. Let’s just face it, all the mining towns are like this. I sighed a little and looked around this placed and rubbed the back of my neck. “Ed, do you really think we’ll really find the Philosopher's Stone in a town like this?” I questioned looking over to him.

Al searched the place and then added onto my question. “It doesn’t seem like this town would produce gold at all.”

Ed looked over to the two of us and shrugged indifferently. He held a small smug expression and turned back to the path ahead of us with closed eyes. “Well it makes sense, now that their mines are no longer producing gold they would have good reason to transmute it. They can only do that with a Philosopher Stone. With this being a former gold mining town it wouldn’t look suspicious.”

Al sighed and shook his head. As he asked if money was all grown ups thought about, which might I add is a yes, I heard a crash of some sort. No matter what it was that didn’t sound too good. We all stopped now hearing it and looked over beside us where we saw what was going on. A mining cart tipped over leaning against a rock with a little girl underneath it. The men around her tried to lift the cart but alas it refused to budge. The four of us looked to each other and nodded before walking over to what was going on. “What happened?” Yuki asked now stopping in front of the girl along with me.
