One or two soldiers strolled down the sidewalk, speaking with each other but still holding their ground as if they had a mission. From where I sat I saw them snapping their eyes over to any female that had even a trace of brown hair on their body. No doubt they searched for Penelope in order to silence her. To be quite frank, they were close but that's only because of luck. In order to catch Penelope, someone would have to see her and rat her out. But who would do that especially after she's made her mark in the public eye? Becoming an icon people have begged to see, taking her State Alchemist title and redefining it. No doubt her title has been reborn in both in the eye of the public and the military.
A hand grasped my right shoulder making me turn my head over to the right with a scowl. There stood a man wearing a military uniform holding a solemn expression. "Excuse me, kid. Have you seen a woman with brown hair and blue eyes?" He questioned in a firm voice.
My lips pursed together while I eyed at the man. "Fraid I don't know anything about her per say, but I did hear that there's a house on the outskirts of Central that might be keeping her. I recommend checking there." I suggested. The man said his farewells along with acknowledging my 'knowledge' to where Penelope resided most of her time. Watching him leave I smirked and shook my head in disbelief. "What an idiot, most of these humans are..."
Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth.
Alphonse Elric
Lie awake in bed at night
And think about your life
Do you want to be different?
Try to let go of the truth
The battles of your youth
'Cause this is just a game
Everyone's looking at me
I'm running 'round in circles
I've got to remember this is just a game
It's a beautiful lie
It's a perfect denial
Such a beautiful lie to believe in
So beautiful, beautiful lie makes me
Beautiful Lie- 30 Seconds to Mars
Five-way fight? Sounds like you really got yourself in trouble this time. How ever will the great Penelope Cruze and Edward Elric get out of this mess?
Relax Fawn, we got out of it in one piece. Funny, it didn't stay in a five way fight for that long, each person was knocked down as the 'fight' continued onwards, either two people strayed away for their own fight or someone left under our noses. Either way, this whole ordeal didn't last.
