Warmth from the sun seeped through the jacket wrapped around my shoulders, heating up my pulled up hair, while I took brisk steps and followed the notes Mr. Sullivan gave me. Since the military showed up, tinkered with our wiring, and threatened me, we had to relocate. I need to continue talking but not for the sake of starting a stir with the public. That is not my intention, I don't think I fully know why I'm doing this myself. Regardless of the reason, doing all of this has helped me more than I will ever know. I have been accepting towards the stuff I've seen and things I've done, probably due to forcing myself to battle against the horrors.

Of course I would eliminate the downsides if I could. Things like the nightmares, the overwhelming guilt, and above all, the startling panic attacks at the mere thought of Ed.

But, I don't care about the things I have to suffer through again, I need to finish this once and for all.

Suddenly someone slammed into my side, knocking me down and throwing the fluttering paper into a nearby puddle. With a grunt I sat up and looked at the paper. "Oh damn!" I yelled out now pulling the paper out of the mess and trying to dry it off.

"Sorry about that ma'am."

Looking up I saw a well dressed man now collecting his things and down the street. As he retreated I gasped while standing. "W-Wait! Do you know where I can..." I started before he was nowhere to be seen. "And you're gone. This is day is already at a great start, Fawn won't let me hear the end of it."

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth.

Alphonse Elric

Lie awake in bed at night

And think about your life

Do you want to be different?

Try to let go of the truth

The battles of your youth

'Cause this is just a game

Everyone's looking at me

I'm running 'round in circles

I've got to remember this is just a game

It's a beautiful lie

It's a perfect denial

Such a beautiful lie to believe in

So beautiful, beautiful lie makes me

Beautiful Lie- 30 Seconds to Mars

Running into a completely different station, out of breath after sprinting through Central as soon as I got directions from someone. The paper before was practically unreadable after dropping it in the puddle. Breaths were heaving in and out of me, my throat getting drier than a desert and my eyes watered from the wind blowing in my face. "Miss. Penelope Cruze. It's a pleasure to have you with us. Would you like a glass of water?" The receptionist greeted with a startled tone.

"Yes please." I breathed out.

"Pene!" Lifting my head I saw Fawn walking towards me with his arms crossed. "You said you would leave home early so you wouldn't be late!"
