Currently three people were discussing and talking amongst themselves while I stared at my feet with a small smile of my face. I could still taste him. I could still taste Ed on my lips, and they still felt a trail of warmth in the place of where his lips were. The two of us shared two kisses in one day, it all still felt like I was locked some dream. That's what something as simple as a kiss could do to my brain. It gave me a rush, made me forget all about the troubles going on, and Ed's had an odd fixation on my senses. My mind was clouded at the thoughts in my head, until there was a snap and a loud noise echoed in my ears. I jumped and winced while holding my ears. "Ow..."
Yuki blinked for a moment and turned her attention to her wrist. There, locked around the base of her hand was her bracelet which made her eyes widen with a curse and pull her alchemical accessory off. "Forget that I did that for now. Now answer my question." She requested placing her hands on her hips.
"Can you repeat that?" I grunted before finally stopping the rubbing of my ears.
Winry sighed and shook her head in annoyance. "She wanted to know what you were thinking?"
Looking at her I shrugged before rubbing my neck. I knew this would happen, that aftermath of finally throwing myself at Ed's feet, telling him how much I care. That Yuki would question me, no matter what Ed's response would be. Having a romantic relationship with someone in the military is strictly forbidden, especially if it's two people who work together. This could be the end of our partnership if word got out. "I wasn't thinking, that's the thing. It just happened."
Wynter had her head leaned against her hand with her elbow on a table nearby. She rolled her eyes and tapped her fingers on the table's surface. "Look Yuki, I don't see the big deal. What's done is done. They kissed, and knowing these two there's probably more of it on the way. I think we should let it be."
Yuki snapped her eyes over and crossed her arms over her chest. "But it is a big deal, Wynter, we're lucky that no one saw them. If they were caught they wouldn't be allowed to work together."
"Yuki... I think you're over-reacting."
I chuckled and shook my head. "Oh no, Winry, she's absolutely right."
"See? Even she knows this is a big deal."
"You say that like it's a good reason to stop." Wynter and Winry exchanged glances and then looked back at the both, Yuki and I. Their eyes were peeled on the both of us, waiting for a response from either of us. Her face was red, most likely from being frustrated at how stubborn I was, and frankly stupid. I know I was pulling a really stupid stunt, but that's all relationship is, a stupid stunt that could go terribly wrong. Looking over I smiled at them. "I kissed him for several reasons, and I agree. There's a chance I could really kick my own ass about it later, but this is also something I have wanted for the longest time. What I need is something to get my mind off everything going on and he needs a stress reliever, I like Ed and he feels the same so it's a double win for us. The military will never know about the two of us I can make sure of that."
Yeah, they know now. Well, I quit the military already so I don't think it really matters too much anymore. Hey, Fawn you've been unusually quiet. What's eating at you?
You know, I've been waiting for that kiss for so long but then you bring up that you two broke some rules just by doing that! Why would you put your job in jeopardy like that? The military seems like a gold mine full of information, so why risk losing it?
Easy, I didn't care, I still don't care. Honestly, the rules and how strict they were made me want to break them even more. That was the first of many rules that Ed and I broke, and even when I'm out, I'm still breaking the rules.
